I've posted a couple of pictures in other posts but thought I'd start a proper thread. This is how I saw it on Ebay: Looking very sorry for itself indeed. This is after I spent a day driving there and back to get some wheels put on it as no one would collect it without wheels: And today I was quite excited when it was delivered to my house: I'll take some better pictures and give it a good wash and brush up and look over tomorrow. I was busy today killing this Tii instead: Nice rotted through rear corner covered in "bondo" as you call it. Some bits are mint, the spare wheel well was replaced but the underneath is just rotted out from front to back. It's a wonder the engine is still in it...

Fear not. :-) I spent some hours driving to visit it today to give it a lift: Now back on some wheels so I can get it collected this week...

The Roundie is the second one I've just bought but not got delivered yet, the rotted one in the pics is a 74 (two different cars). :-) Bit unclear on my part.

A 2002 has always been on my wish list along with a Manta A, decided that was a no no as parts are a problem so have started looking at 2002's. Picked this up off Ebay here cheap but having had a quite look over it, I'm not sure it's worth saving. Anyone think this can be fixed? This is just the driver's side, that's the carpet showing through the floorpan... There's a shedload of receipts but A LOT of money has been spent on it over the years on bodywork not that it shows as I think that's the cause of some of the bad rot on it. The boot floor is pretty good as it was replaced. Bonnet and "trunk" are rotted along the edges as they seem to on these. I've already bought another one just in case, lol. [/img]
