  1. I did another way. Got a "Clearance light" at the Auto parts store. Took it apart, took the bulb and socket portion and tacked it (welder) on to the Euro mounting assembly. Bent it around so that bulb was in the right orientation. Loved the way it worked, as I can now easily change bulbs. Could have just as well bolted instead of welded. Got the idea from searching the archives on the subject. You might try the same, wealth of knowledge!
  2. Holy WOW! Umm, fantastic! If ur sellin', I'm buying. Just to keep in storage for the "ultimate 02" T
  3. FWIW, most fixed backs have optional tilt tracks... you can tilt the entire seat towards the dash, and still use your back seat.
  4. I'll admit to the archives helping my memory along. Truly no rush! I need to try to find a way to digitize, then maybe we can create it as an FAQ...
  5. ... for a 73? I'd be infinitely grateful! Tom Sebastopol, CA
  6. Nicely written! Should be very searchable for future inquiries. Just to clarify, stock config. on my 72 would be ALL black side grilles, none of them chrome? Funny, I've had three roundies, all missing some black grill covers, thought some chrome was stock! Thanks again, Tom
  7. Searched the archives, looking for a timeline around the front grill slats? At what years did what happen on the front grill? I.e. 1600's had all chrome, 71 and 72 had X # black and X # chrome, etc? Also, any pics of different configurations from stock? My two grill sides are mismatched, and I need to decide what direction to head... 72/3 Colorado (should be Inka) 2002. Nor Cal
  8. I could likely help as well. I have a flatbed and dodge diesel and tow all of the time. I'm in Sebastopol and travel for work all of the time, but we can probably work out timing. Let me know if you strike out on other avenues, and we can likely work something out. tom shores at earthlink dot net. Remove the spaces...
  9. Your description summed it up, thanks for the pic! Still look like seat covers, but better than most... I have to decide if I think they'll fit on a pair of flofits... Thanks again

  11. The rear looks great. Any pictures of the fronts with the Bav Auto Seat Covers on? Sorry to be a PIA! Tom

  13. thanks for the reply. Are your E30 seats "sport", or standard? If they are Sports, and you wouldn't mind taking a picture, that would be great! Where'd you pick up the 6 series rears? And how ?? if you don't mind...

  15. Hi All, Anyone used the $$ Bav auto leather seat covers, front or rear? Trying to find inexpensive (ish) way to rehab a pair of Front Flofits, and and rear bench seat in the wrong interior color... Found a sheepskin place online that offered a sport style cover, that would fit the Flofits, but lost the URL... Not sure what to do on the rears, 6 series or $400 for an upholsterer... Any thoughts and pics appreciated. Tom 73 "50/50" Colorado (new to me and undergoing makeover)
