  4. Replaced the injectors. Screwed around wiht AFr's still not having much luck. whats weird is the car runs great when it is cold. I couldnt find anything particular in the settings.... really frustrating.

  8. I do have wideband, sometimes Id have it running as rich as 10:1 and and I wouldaim for about 12.5:1 cause anywhere higher it would just be worse. I tried dilly dallying around with lots of AFR's. Whats your recommended AFr Targets?
  9. Hey, I have been trying to tune my 2002 for the past couple of months, and I pretty much Suck at it. I dont know what is going on, and Ive tried everything from hundreds of Maps and SPark maps etc etc. I'm getting tired of pulling everything apart only to find nothing really wrong, but I can't get it to run right. But for some Reason During Low RPMs the car sputters around, almost sounding like a WRX. Then as the Upper RPMS kick the car begins to really start to run smooth. Except when I begin to punch it it will get occasional misfires. Ill just post the megasquirt stuff.   11. Graduate school is around the corner, and now I have to move on, this project is near completion, but it needs more tuning. CAR DOES DRIVE! !!!! the Head and bottom end wont be parted. The head was put together at a shop; I worked at a1 imports autoworks. It's a 1.8 head, ported, polished with a metric mechanic 292 camshaft, its got +1 oversized valves, and Schrick heavy duty upgraded valve springs. I have MS1 with EDIS capability, and the wiring harness. The bottom end has forged ross pistons, MLS headgasket, ARP headstuds. New bearings crank redone all of it. engine has less than 5000 Miles. I had around 4.5K into this engine (i have a spreadsheet), and Id like to sell the car as a whole. so someone will get a steal for a tii and a badass turob system. Engine modification: General Machine work for crankshaft honing, boring journals pistons et Head work I am forgetting a lot of things so bear with me 292 Camshaft schrick valvesprings stainless valves + 1 Ross pistons ARP studs MLS headgasket Porting work. shaved valve guides New oil pump S14 newTiming chain New Camsprocket New tensioner oil pan baffle oil windage tray oil cooling boost Bros Turbo megasquirt wiring harness AEM uego wideband Trigger Wheel Injectors LOW milage 5sp Kit stage 2 clutch Next ill write up the suspension stuff.

  13. DO the Tie rod ends/ball joints wear down? I don't know if mine have been replaced, or are in good shape, but the control arm bushings and other rubber are deteriorating, and i was gonna tighten things up with a urethane steering coupler, and urethane bushings there. I was curious as to how much of suspension "tightness" was attributed to the idler arm, ball joints, as well as tie rod ends. Thanks

  16. IS there a way you can post your spark table, and your AFR targets? Or send them to me in email. I think it would be much aggressive due to running ethanol right?
  17. The Damn STuds and NUTS keep on coming out. They thread in, and will stay in, but after a couple of Days the stud comes out, and shoots oil everywhere, and fucks my day up. Should I use plumbers tape on the studs? a special loctite? I really cant figure out why it comes loose all the time.
