messing around with that master cylinder.I'm gonna go out and stare at my weatherstripping and try to get motivated.By the way,my wipers work
-
They're screws.Mine were missing so I got some from Rob at 2002 Haus. They might be available from BMW .They are nothing special. You might try Home Depot, just don't expect to find any help there

go work on your car!
-
The only mods are 1bar boost,no cat and B+B exhaust. The boost comes on much earlier(about 3,000rpm).With the 4 speed gearbox and the spacing of the ratios I wondered if I'd ever be in the right gear at the right rpm's in various corner configurations. My 85 Carrera seems more track-friendly.Don't scratch that paint!
-
and order the model you suggested. Is the 930 any fun on the track?I thought about doing some D.E.events in mine but thought it might prove to be a handful.Thanks-again

Any other sources for an equivalent,or better bleeder?
-
Thanks for the advice.I just ordered one.My co-bleeder,(my nephew) hasn't shown up for 5 weeks ,so I guess I need to do it myself if I want to get this car on the road before I croak.

Yes-I'll take them if still available.I'm in N.E.OH.44054.If you still have them just let me know what I owe you.Thank-you

As I don't have any of the stock BMW linkage
-
You're (as in "you are")
-
Thats a big help.A picture from the rear of the linkage, down the firewall, would be helpful.I believe my mechanical skills ,which were limited at-best in my youth, have begun to rust.
-
Almost too nice to hide under a hood.I have the linkage that connects and balances the 2 Webers. My problem is what to do from there back to the firewall and down to the pedal.I just checked Irelands website and they now offer linkage specific to the intake manifold although they don't specify how complete it is.Might be worth a call. Thank-you both

Yep, Carl or possibly Rob Torres.I've always wanted a GTV!
-
The only linkage I have is an approximately 27 inch-long piece of bicycle cable w/Heim joints that attach to the carbs.I don't have any brackets, rods etc.all the way to where the linkage exits the pedal box.My manifold is Karzundparts and I believe it was purchased from Miller and Norburn Racingin the mid 1980's.I was thinking of calling Rob Torres. Thanks
