What happens if you have a blue coil and leave the ballast resistor in the circuit?
-
That looks like a very nice car.Good-luck and Have Fun! Cars like that are nearly impossible to find in Ohio
-
If it's a 4-speed,remove the 2 snap rings and slide toward the front of the car
-
It's not hard unless it's seized in the bellhousing.Snap ring pliers are required
-
Mike-BMW lists them but only in sets of 4 in the following colors black/white,black/blue,beige/brown.List is $ 165.00.I can get you a set for much cheaper.I'd like to re-pay the favor you did me a few years ago on the 02 in the boneyard near you.E-mail me oof the board if interested.

That's a shame Coop.I was at Harv's a few days ago and he showed me his(carbon fiber hood and trunklid you perverts) and they were very nicely made and very light.Good-Luck and don't lose the spirit
-
Real easy install but you need 2 people so as not to scratch the paint
-
Honestly, pictures don't do the car justice. The car is down-right scary looking in person.
-
Harvs' car is so nice I was really scared we would scratch it.I had a death grip on the roll bar and may have left a smudge on the fresh black paint. He is a great guy.I just wish he didn't live so far away
-
I don't think the dealer shows the part as currently available.
-
The one from the filler neck throught the trunk floor.Mine is MIA
-
Very worthwhile video

Andrew- I have to speak up for Harv.Although I've only known him for a little over a year,I've had him at my house several times(he lives an hour away)and I've been to his home.He is one of the most genuine, helpful, and honest folks I've met in my nearly 55 years.I value his friendship highly and I'm certain that he feels terrible for offending you.

It's become my current favorite magazine

Rodents can destroy your interior and your wiring.I use moth balls inside the car and also in the trunk and engine bay of my cars.I also do nearly all of the other stuff mentioned and have never had a problem after Nov-April annual storage

Rob and Robynne are first-class as far as my experience goes
-
I'd check the fuel filter and/or the fuel pump

It helps to have 2 people when you install the master cyl.I didn't so I glued the bolts with some RTV so I could get the nuts started on my own. Then I put a box wrench or a small vise-grips(don't remember) on the nuts in the pedal box and then snugged the bolts down.I had a heck of a time removing the slave even though the car had not been on the road since it had been replaced 20 years earlier.Neither heat nor PB Blaster worked so we(My buddy Harv and I )broke off both ends of the slave by crushing it and them making a puller out of a bolt and some sockets and flat washers. That procedure is unlikely to be necessary though. The worst part is dealing with brake fluid.UGH!Good -Luck

Adding cement should lower the rear of the car and, perhaps, raise the front..I think some of the comments are from people who are genuinely trying to be helpful(02 Les for example). The others are obviously kidding around.

I agree.I 've only dealt with Dave on a few occasions ,but I'd rate him at the top of the heap

A product from Leatherique works pretty well.I've used their "rejuvenator"followed by "Prestine clean" with good results. They also offer dyes but I've not tried those
-
I'll third that motion.I'm in Medina cty.OH.about 4 hrs from Dayton. You can crash here
-
It's a beautiful car Bill!

Sorry-I obviously mis-read your question

Thanks Justin-That could explain why my long-term project runs erratically. We suspected spark or the Webers
