Bump for more ideas!

Thank-you. The problem still occurs even if I leave the key in the ignition switch and I tried Lock-Ease at my buddy B.J. Barbieris' suggestion to no avail. For now I'm just not turning the ignition switch all the way off. I tried that at a local euro-car show this past Sunday and it didn't seem to drain the battery . I forgot to do that at a gas station yesterday and it took several minutes to get it to release properly.I don't think the switch itself is worn as it doesn't have any excess play or binding when it does work.
Thanks fellas and Mike I met you at the Vintage in 2007 when you were installing a windshield in an 02 painted in chalkboard green

Just recently I sometimes have difficulty with my ignition switch.Specifically, sometimes the key refuses to turn.It seems to be related to the steering wheel interlock because if I rotate the wheel back-and-forth repeatedly it seems to temporarily fix the issue. Any ideas?

I have several of the later boards I'd be happy to get rid of for a six pack of beer but I'm in N.E.Ohio!

Price reduced to $90.00 plus shipping/Paypal. Prefer to sell to someone in the lower 48 as I just checked on shipping to Canada and the additional fees are crazy expensive

I agree with the observations of those above but I suspect it's also possible that you might have a stuck rear wheel cylinder. My car would pull to the left under braking until I realized that both wheel cylinders were stuck.

I'm looking for a good Schrick 292 cam.It must be the old style genuine Schrick and not what they are selling now

Thank-you everyone! I will issue a refund when I see what he returns. It's just not worth my own reputation or the hassle.

I'm glad Scott is O.K. I have met him and his wife a few times and they are very nice people who love BMW's. I believe they used to ice race as-well.
