I just placed an order, but the math doesn't seem right on the order page
I ordered 2 kits $59 each and one each of the spares $26 + $3+ $3.
So 59+ 59+ 26 + 3 + 3 = 150 times 75% = 112.50.
My total was $117.30 and my shipping was $16.
What gives?

It was heading East on I-20 about 6pm in Downtown Shreveport,LA.
It was on riding on a 18 wheeler car carrier with a bunch of wrecked cars.
I think it was a late model (big bumpers) and it did not look wrecked. It was orange and the paint job looked real good . I only caught a glimpse of it. anybody know where it was headed?

I am not sure about the stage one KMAC kit, But the Stage Two KMAC kit that I received came with a special nut-bushing and a special domed washer. The washer goes below the middle plate of the KMAC and the nut screws on the top of the threaded strut rod.
The special washer takes up some space on the threaded part of the strut rod, so once mounted there are only about two threads above the top of the middle plate. A regular nut will start on the shaft but become tight after two revolutions. So KMAC supplies this special nut-bushing. There are threads in the bushing and nut part of this piece. It screws down into the top of the strut mount.
I heard from KMAC tis morning. They are sending me two nuts that are M12- 1.25 and said that two would be included in future kits.

It is a KMAC part. It is a threaded nut-bushing. The bushing slides into the top of the mount. The bushing part is also threaded because there are not enough threads for a standard metric nut to catch.

I bought a stage 2 camber kit 192016-2 for my 74 Tii.
I have one side almost finished but the special nut/bushing won't screw on the top of my Bilstein strut. The threads on my strut are M 12-1.25 and the threads in the special nut are M 12-1.5.
I have been trying for a week to find out if KMAC has this special nut in M 12 - 1.25 thru my supplier and thru KMAC but I can't get an answer.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any suggestions on a solution?
Ireland and Ground Control kits require coil over which I don't have. Are there any other kits that work on a stock diameter spring set up?

I am interested but I had a 32 LSD so my half shafts have a 2002 cv on one end and a 320 cv on the other. I think the 302 bolts are longer.

Is that that place just past East German Road and just past Skunk Hollow Road???
I believe you have to go thru Toad Suck to get there!!!
See YA Tomorrow

Tim, Here are your part numbers...
-013 1847V
-008 2847
-002 2842
These kits will need 3.0-ohm coils...
I would suggest the following part numbers...
40501 Chrome
40511 Black
PerTronix

Petronix gave me two different ki numbers fro the 008 vs the 002

My rubber shift booth was ripped , so I ordered a new one.
25111206881 was replaced by 25111208773.
The 733 is made of vinyl fabric . I would like a rubber one like my original.
Part number 25111100582 is also listed. Anybody know what it looks like?
I have a 74 Tii.

I used a piece of plastic tubing and kept wrapping it with electrical tape until it fit. worked great!

I tried two or three different repair solutions. You would paint over the area that was scratched away. I never got any of them to work. The solution would dry and look okay but it would not conduct a current.
I bought the J C Whitney kit and installed it. I used a razor blade to scrape the old ridge off the windshield so the new tape would stick better. I thought a flat surface would work best. It works for a few years but the adhesive is giving way now so the tape is coming loose where the rear widow curves. I gave up. I live in the South so I don't really need it

I don't have a curve but the tabular specs for a 74 Tii that I have shows 4 to 9 degrees of advance at 1000 RPMs and 27 to 31 degrees at 3500 RPMs.
Your curve shows only 12 1/2 degrees of advance if I am reading it correctly.
I just had my 180-130 recurved and I now have 29 degrees of total advance and 6 degrees of retard.
Maybe your curve is measured at the distributor and not at the crankshaft, so you would have to double the numbers ,which would give a 25 degree max. Bet that's it.

If I needed a rebuild I would probably send it to Metric Mechanis in Kansas City , but it would cost a fortune. Your best bet is to find a used one with lower miles on it. Perhaps from someone who did a 5 speed conversion.

What about disconnecting the advance retard like on a later Tii with an 013 distributor? What is the effect?

I vote for the under rear seat option .Note his cut off switch.
That looks just like my installation.
