  1. Interested in both front fenders and spare tire well if they are in good shape. I'm in SJ and could swing by to check them out. Rick
  2. Are these seats still available? If so, where are you located in NorCal?
  3. Weber 38/38 (electric choke) with BMW manifold hogged out off of my 1971 BMW 2002. Asking for $225 plus shipping charges if not local. I am located in San Jose, CA. If interested, email me at rmoto@netzero.net [/img]
  4. Selling some items on CL as I wanted to sell them locally (Northern Cal) but I can ship them at buyers expense. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/2686150661.html Feel free to email me rmoto@netzero.net
  5. Is your IE exhaust a center exit ('75-'76) or passenger side exit (early years)?
  6. How much for the Crane hi-6 ignition with lx92 coil? Where in L.A. are you?
  7. Saw that TEP has some lynx manifolds for sale http://stores.ebay.com/Top-End-Performance/Weber-Carbs-/_i.html?_fsub=7&_sid=4900151&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322
  8. Awesome! That's what is so great about this forum and the members. Thanks for the help.
  9. I've searched the 2002 FAQ but all the posts are old and the pictures are no longer available. Looking for pictures of the setup. Thanks, Rick
  10. Sorry, as I too have been eyeing it for some time. I contacted John Mouton last week and he let me know that it was his last one, so I pulled the trigger. Can't wait to get the other pieces to install it all.
  11. Looking for the hailed Lynx intake manifold and also some Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 rims in either 15x7 et 25 or 16x7 et 25-28. I may end up buying the rims from Bimmerworld unless I find a better offer. Thanks, Rick
  12. That is such sad news as Mitch was a great guy I had the honor of meeting. I made the long haul to his place up in the wooded area of Scotts Valley where he had his storage shed with 02 parts. He sold me some parts at very reasonable prices and offered me advice. He loved 02's and wanted to keep them on the road, so he offered anyone interested his expert advice. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
  13. Thanks for the part numbers on the Vision series.
  14. I am looking to install electrical temperature and pressure gauges, but wanted to see which VDO part numbers members have installed. I am looking at the cockpit series. Thanks, rick
  15. Try having two kids under 3 years old and then you will realize that spare time is hard to come by. Ideally I would like to do the work myself as it would be great to know first hand all the mechanics of my car, but I have family priorities and lack of space/tools.
  16. Terry, I know that the conversion costs vary and I have heard in the ballpark of $6K-$10K, but what was the approximate cost of your conversion by A1 imports? Rick
  17. Thanks to each of you who responded. I will definitely be calling the people you all recommended.
  18. Thanks for the information Steve. I will try contacting both guys.
  19. Looking at all my options for a new powerplant since my current motor is due for an overhaul. I've heard of a few guys in Southern California and another one in Sacramento who do the S14 conversion but does anyone have recommendations and contact info for people who will do the conversion? I'm in the SF Bay Area and would like to see about having this done in before the end of the year. Thanks in advance. Rick
  20. I did a conversion and it turned out pretty good, although the picture doesn't do it justice. I took it with my camera phone. The LED lighting is brighter than the old bulbs. It is important to clean out the lenses, dust off the gauges and check the connections. Several of my lights didn't work before but now do after the cleaning. The LEDs are from Super Bright LEDs.
  21. Just came from the Berryessa location where they had a 74-76 BMW 2002 with a decent dash, but I didn't have time to pull it. They also had an early 70's 320i which I was able to get some mirrors off of. I saw some e30's with one even having a pretty good single basketweave without center cap.
  22. Thanks for the help. I plan to install a rear strut brace and wasn't sure how difficult the removal of the rear shocks will be.
  23. What does it take to replace the rear shocks and how difficult is it?
  24. There is the guy who goes by the name Rimspoke, he custom makes stainless steel ones. He could possibly make some longer for you.
  25. I have not received my Bmw '02 Restoration Guide so I don't know the exact number of t-bolts and plastic moulding clips that I will need to install my lower moulding? I have lower moulding for the behind the front wheel, door and in front of the rear wheel. Thanks in advance for the help.
