  1. I used Dynamat Extreme, which was very easy to work with and adheres strong when rolled.
  2. Thanks for the quick replies. I already removed all the old tar crap that was in the car and replaced it with Dynamat. I will definitely go to Home Depot and purchase some padding for specific areas.

  4. I just received my new carpet set from SeamsPerfect and wanted to find out if others who have installed new carpet sets added carpet padding? If so, any recommendations would be appreciated (i.e., type, thickness, etc.).
  5. Thanks for the help. I will try the two person approach.
  6. Any one have tips on the best way to re-install the rear quarter windows? I am replacing the weatherstripping and unscrewed the four screws for the metal bracket holding the window to the car plus took out the cotter pin attaching the window to the seal. For re-installation, is it easier to assemble the window and gasket with the cotter pin then install it in the car having to attach the screws or should I screw in the metal bracket first then place the window with the gasket in the bracket having the cotter pin left to attach?
  7. I am relatively new to BMW2002FAQ and recently purchased a '71, but has anyone ever installed an e36 rear seat with integrated rear seat belts in an 2002? I know that on this sight there was Patrik Railo who installed e36 rear seats, but he used different seat belts. I realize the seat installation is going to take modifications, but I am curious about the seat belts.
