Hi Justin- Just sent $250 via PayPal. I'm not in a big rush to get them so cheapest way with good packing is fine! Thanks, Ed T.

  3. Hi- I will buy this kit from you for $10 if still available. My zip is 78750. I can pay via PayPal. I am traveling and won't be home until this weekend to pay you. My email is r69us at yahoo dot com. Thanks, Ed T.

  4. Hi William- I too have an Eric Kerman 2.3L M10 in my 2002. I also have a 123 ignition. I have a pair of 45 Dellortos.

    1. Can you please tell me where you sourced your S14 replacement head gasket for your motor?

    2. Would you be willing to share your ignition advance map with me for my 123 distributor?

    Best regards,

    Ed Tinsley

      Hi Ed,

I'm very sorry for the long delay in my response. I wasn't aware that members could contact each other via their profiles, and I wasn't notified by the FAQ that you had done so.

My response to your head gasket question is two-fold. The S14 head gasket is not appropriate for an M10 head as the cooling jackets on the M10 and S14 heads are different, so I would avoid using the S14 head gasket, as it will cause head gasket failures.  You should order a custom head gasket from Cometic, specifying the bore of your pistons and probably selecting the standard thickness.

As for the 123 curves, I'll share mine later this week when I get home, but I'm now running a 38/38 carb, and my curves aren't perfectly dialed in.

      Hi William (Bill?)-

Well now it is my turn to apologize for a tardy reply! But in May I was getting ready to leave for the Bavaria Tour and I was going nuts trying to get everything ready for the trip.

Then after I got back things at work got incredibly busy and i am also trying to get my daughter ready to start college in Massachusetts, so I have not been spending much time on my 2002!

I was poking around the FAQ this morning and discovered your reply.

I am also running a Weber 38/38 at present, and would like to have whatever curve you are running.

Could you email the file to me at r69us@sbcglobal.net please?

      Thanks very much!

      Ed T.
