MotoMeter (Iveka) Quartz Clock

Any tii owners out there using a MotoMeter quartz clock, labeled "Iveka" on the dial? Red minute/hour and white second hand. I have one NOS just sitting in the box. The clock in my tii touring has not worked for a long time and I thought about replacing it with the quartz. Are these quartz versions less prone to breaking down?

I don't really have an answer to your question but I'd guess the quartz clocks are less prone to breaking down.

You should look at Mar's write up on repairing the tii clock. That's how I fixed mine and it works great now.

But, if you decide to replace your tii clock with the quartz clock I'd be willing to buy your non working clock. I broke the bezel on mine and have had a very difficult time finding a "parts" clock. LMK
