Everyone complained 18-months ago when Belt Trim cost a whopping $810 @ Full Set from Online sources like Bavarian Autosport in New Hampshire -- used to have the best price anywhere.

Then this jumped to $890 @ Full Set about 14-months ago which we all thought would be a ceiling for a while.

 

$890 lasted about 8-months and now a New Set of Belt-trim will set you back a staggering $1,295 @ Full Set !!!

While most sections of Trim have risen $23 in price, the three most expensive pieces are the Center Nose piece and the two curved Hood sides.  The Nose piece has increased $52, while the two Hood Sides have both increase $100 each.

Now, just these three Hood sections are now more than $525 New!

 

Most all used Belt Trim is scratched and the best Rating is usually only an "8.5-out-of-10" Quality. Sometimes, in rare instances, I have had a "9-out-of-10" Quality Set (maybe 2-3 Sets in 4 years).

 

Recently went through all available Belt Trim and organized each Section by a Score of #1- 4. With #1 having light scratches and clean clear-coat and no dents, #2 having more scratches, less-luster and no dents, to #3 having both scratches & dents, to #4 having scratches, dents and low-luster.

 

The last complete Set was sold 2 weeks ago. However, there are still # 83 pieces in current Inventory with some excellent sections available.

 

Unfortunately, I do not have any Driver’s Door pieces in current Inventory = the “Highest-demand” section to find due to all of the Driver's-side wear. Also, only have one Daily-driver Passenger Door piece.

 

Otherwise, most of the other pieces that complete the Belt Trim are here in varying condition.

 

The Best Quality Belt Trim includes both Left & Right Long Hood pieces, the Left & Right rear Quarter pieces, the Left Trunk Deck piece and the Center Trunk piece. Also have two Roundie Center Tail pieces in “8-out-of-10” condition available.

Usually you can polish these pieces with teeth whitening toothpaste, like Ultra-bright or Steel Wool to reduce pitting and bring up the luster of this Trim by one full level, e.g., increase from a 7.5 to an 8.5 level.

DEPENDING on Size of the Order, The Belt Trim Fits inside of a 4" Home Depot Drainage Tube and Ships USPS Priority Mail for $15.45 to $23.45 with Insurance (Included) Depends on distance =  Simple Enough

 

In General Shipping is most commonly via USPS with the Parcel Select service which is Distance sensitive. Here, the weight of the package determines the Shipping cost. OR Priority Mail which is Flat-rate in standard boxes
