bump.....got impatient and pulled the engine out of the car today, so it's sitting in my garage with the hoist.

Before I removed it did a compression check and got 146, 144, 145, 147 with car not fully warmed up (so it would probably go up a tad if I let it warm up all the way).

didn't notice any leaks on the engine, though there is a leak from the back of the tranny (probably the rear seal or shifter o-ring, not sure). Engine is dirty (with dirt/mud) but otherwise in good running shape. Drove the car yesterday with it in and it ran perfectly.
