Picture search?

Recommended Posts

I think a box to check "Search messages with attached pictures" or something like that would be handy. Am I wrong?

When looking for solutions and illustrations on matters. Just a thought, it might make this gold mine of know-how even better.

Well, some guys attach images, some add links to the body of the post. I don't think a pic search would work, at least not consistently.

What people need to do is use concise key words in their post subject lines. The threads like "heeeellp!!!" that cover fuel delivery issues, or points problems, etc. may end up with 20 replies and some very helpful images.. while the original posts are understandable in their original context, they are, without the proper key words, worthless for others searching for a solution later.

I think as a group we need to make the subject lines to-the-point, for the greater good. I came to this conclusion a couple years ago and began doing this in my project blog. All entries are like, "320is Steering Wheel", or "Crane XR-7000", etc.

2002 newbie, and dead serious about it.

You´re right. But, in addition to concise keywords in title, maybe "tags"? You, or anybody, could tag a post with "tranny", "idler" and so on. Or perhaps more general, as "suspension", "front" and so on.. But that might be hard to execute, maybe=)
