ne1 have a 320 aux fan and a stock radiator?

I used a 320i auxilary fan switch, which threads right into the spot

where one of the emission control sensors was located on the

underside of the intake manifold (leading into the coolant

passage). This was on a '76; not sure if that hole exists on earlier

cars, and obviously if you want your emissions system to work

right you probably need to leave the sensor that's in there alone.

yeah, I have no idea what the original sensor did other than it was

something to do with emissions. No noticable difference now that

it's not there anymore. The 320i temp switch (I'm using the 82

degree celcius one) is a perfect fit and has worked great with the

320i electric fan, keeping the temp needle right in the middle of

the gauge.
