I have a five speed OD transmission from a 1983 320i. This is the trans that has two pieces. It is a one year only trans and is shorter than the typical 320i transmission. You can read all about this trans here on the FAQ board.

The trans came from a car which appeared to be well cared for and well maintained. The interior looked great. The drain plug was free of any metal debris and the oil looked great. It was not black and tarry.

The trans comes with:

1. Shift fork and throw-out bearing;

2. Clutch slave cylinder and line (rubber and metal);

3. Reverse switch and wiring;

4. Shift Platform and shift lever;

5. Shift linkage;

6. Guibo in good condition;

7. Shift support bushing;

8. Six inch section of driveshaft and all fasteners.

Get yourself a custom shift bracket from 2002Haus and you are on your way to converting your car to a five speed.

Trans is located in Orange County California. I prefer local pickup but will ship if necessary. Shipping would be actual cost plus the cost of packaging. Also I am willing to deliver the trans locally for gas money.
