what is the best way to carve up a

donor chassis for parts?

sort of depends on what you want to end up with.

Once the mechanical bits and glass are removed, the shell can be pretty easily cut with a corded sawzall and good metal-cutting blade.

I would cut sections that could be grafted to another car at their normal attachment points. So if you take the nose the tower sections will be junk ( more or less ).

It's all about what is good on the car.

I just junked my parts car( a 76) this spring after removing anything that was useful that would unbolt. The rest of it was to much of a pita to store.
