it was a piece of shit and slow as hell. it finally got stolen.

I never drove it fast or hard, but as soon as i got the

2002 (my first real car) I got into the handling and

driving pleasure more than I ever was with the

Audi.

We got 250,000 miles out of the Audi before it was

sold for parts.

junior year of high school (I never got the car). The first car I really owned and drove was a '65 VW bug bought in spring of '68 from another Navy guy at the sub base in New London CT after I got back from beautiful SE Asia - drove the wheels off it all over New England and NY, then home to Southern CA in fall of '69 for college.

then a 1966 volvo 122s then a 1978 GMC 4x4 3/4 ton with overloads a winch and a ladder rack. then a 1968 karmann ghia convertible 1989 volvo 245DL five speed. 1974 bmw 2002. I only ever drove the volvo 245DL and the truck utill I bought the 2002. the rest of the cars were mostly glorified parts cars.
