    It was Friday afternoon, not Saturday. I have no idea...I'm just starting this project and so many people have recommended Ben. The "for sale" sign and nobody answering the phone or the buzzer is concerning.

    Hi all: I went to B&D Auto in Westchester yesterday mid-afternoon and there was no answer when I buzzed at the door, and no answer from the phone. There was also a big "For Sale" sign on their fence. The Bimmer "orphanage" (as I call it...it's not a graveyard) was still there and there looked to be newer BMWs sitting on the street that maybe needed service? I was hoping for some help on my '72 2002 and would love his guidance. Thanks for any info anyone has! --Norb

    Hi: Just joined the group today, and am starting a restoration on a '72 2002. The restoration means a ton to me as my Dad (former award-winning BMW master technician) and I restored a '72 roundie in the late '80s. My bimmer is a basket case, and I'm sure I'll be scouring the archives and asking questions along the way. The last picture is the original project. So happy to see the community is alive and well!
