Hello all, looking to buy a nice condition rust free/minimal rust passenger door or skin. I prefer OEM. I've seen the MVP parts online and just would rather use original parts. If anybody has one or knows of one please let me know. thank you.

Looks like the Turbo has disappeared from Copart. Has anyone here ever made contact with Copart to get additional info or more pics of car? I called a few days ago and it appears they have no intention of letting anyone near the cars.

Its just a standard steel spacer, doesn't have to be OE.
Measure it and find something similar at Home Depot or Ace hardware or Amazon.
A mm or two difference in Dia. wont matter and a file will take care of small differences in length.
Steel - Spacers - Fasteners - The Home Depot
WWW.HOMEDEPOT.COMGet free shipping on qualified Steel Spacers products or Buy Online Pick Up in Store today in the Hardware Department.Think I may just do that. Pretty pointless trying to get an OEM one at this point.

Hello, having no luck finding some parts for my struts. Looking for the little spacer/sleeve for the front struts (pic attached) I have one so I only need 1 more. Also looking for the washers part #31331118095 . Cannot find them anywhere in stock. Everywhere is backordered and the dealer does not have them. If anybody has these parts laying around I will buy them from you. Thank you.

Hello all, had someone put our front struts together after they were reconditioned and now have an issue. When going over bumps the shaft shoots up too high and if the hood was installed it would hit the hood. I believe I've narrowed it down to missing the spacer and two washers (numbers 2 3 and 4 in the attached pic). Does anybody have any good diagram or source for the parts?

Hello all, getting to the point of doing the diff on my restoration turbo and would like to know the proper and best differential fluid for the LSD.

I purchased one and was not happy with it. It was very thin and didn't fit great. It had multiple divots in it that would need filler when it came new out of the box.

The hose clamp might be more difficult to find (your photo is reproduced below). For one thing, I’m not certain which clamp it is. First off, the breather hose appears on parts catalogue page 11/43, part #01 (part # 11151259450), second and third photos below. But the clamp doesn’t appear on that page.
Second, there’s a similar clamp on parts catalogue page 34/28, part #06 (part # 11651260328). It appears to have an inside diameter of 19 mm. This is shown in the fourth photo below.
Third, there’s another similar clamp on parts catalogue page 13/35, part #03 (part # 13511260331). It appears on the fifth and sixth photos below.
There might be more factory clamps, the above two are what I’ve found thus far.
If I had neither of the two clamps you’ve shown us, I’d search on the applicable part numbers and place want-to-buy ads in this forum.
These are both very simple steel clamps that could be easily re-created, but you might be able to find used original examples. I believe the round clamp for the breather hose should be secured by an acorn-head valve cover nut.
Regards,
Steve
Thank you for the great in depth answer. Helped a lot and I am on the hunt now.

Hello, does anybody have the exact OEM color for Turbo air boxes? Out of my two cars I have two different shades of gray paint. Any insight is appreciated.

Very high price and doesn't look like the correct seat stitching...

Hi All- Still trying to get the car put back together and finished. I am currently at the stage of trying to determine the order of assembly, not to mention reassembling the throttle body itself, since I did not take it apart. The person who took it apart to bead blast it completely stripped the throttle body down except for the bearings where the shaft goes through. When I checked them recently they are loaded with dust and sand. Does anyone know of assembly instructions and adjustment? Do any of you do this for a living and I could send this to you? Thanks for any help.

Hi All- Was wondering if there are any other Turbo owners in Florida who knows a mechanic experienced with our cars? I am trying to assemble an intake/throttle body which was given to me in pieces. I am looking for some help with the assembly and adjustment. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

@Mike Self- Thanks to you and all the great responses here. I appreciate all the help. Do you happen to have the part number for the E30 wafer kit? Thanks, Fares

I am trying to re-key a door lock/handle to match an ignition key. I was told by a few people I will need slabs once I take the lock cylinder apart. I have searched for slabs or slab kits everywhere and it doesn't seem to be a thing. If anyone here has done this before or has knowledge abot this process, do I actually need slabs or can I use the existing slabs in the cylinder and place them in a different position according to the key?

The public can actually bid on these vehicle but you have to go through a third party. The fees are extraordinary. Pay extra attention to the small print. I think you have two days to pick up the car or the very high storage fees start incurring.
