  1. Jack, I don't know where your located. But message me if you need some help with the repro/mod.
  2. Thanks Steve, When I checked the vin on the decoder it said it was manufactured between September and December of 67. This is 1561012. I would be glad to have it part of the registry. How do I go about doing so.
  3. 02les, I could see why you asked about Tundra. The metallic paint was the last poorly done paint job with lots of overspray all over everything. It was even painted red at one time. But the areas under the hood and in the trunk that were original were not metalic. The car was manufactured around September of 67. When I researched the colors on this forum it led me to believe Turf was the correct color.
  4. 02les, when the car was stripper the in the trunk matched Turf not tundra. landon, The bodywork was not done on the front range. It was done by Past Time in Estes Park. 840 Big Horn Dr, Estes Park, CO 80517 Office: 970-586-5543 Mike’s Cell: 970-237-2164 Jeff’s Mobile: 970-214-5288

The Carpet is from esty carpet. The mats are from Coco. The instrument cluster is from a 74 with the original instruments installed with Chrome Rings from Didotuning on ebay. The center console is reconstructed using the original console as a template. The radio installation kit is from RogersTii. The Black German vinyl (1965-71) for the console, B-Pillars and rear tray below the window is from AASE Sales. The solid white BMW import head Liner is from Headliner Express. The steering wheel was refurbished using eastwood steering wheel repair kit. The dash was repaired using the polyvance system. The polyvance system is holding up pretty well but a couple of cracks are appearing in the center of the dash. 6. Mark, I found this post a few months ago and was shocked this was the car I purchased in the summer of 16 for $4500. It looks better in the picture than it actually was. The color on the car was actually metallic and not Turf. When I had the car sand blasted the bondo fell off and there was rust in all the usual places ,Fenders, Rockers and floor boards. All the body work was performed locally as well as the upholstery. I did all the mechanical work myself except for the transmission (Korman Rebuilt it). Motor is rebuilt, Suspension and all bushings are replaced. Added sway bars on both front and rear. Needed to weld on clips in the rear for the sway bar,It didn't have any. All this said, I would not have been able to complete this project with out the help of this knowledgeable community. I will always be grateful. Hopefully the attached pictures upload. 8. I have a 68 1600 (manufactured 12/67) and needed replacement flexes. I found an industrial flex with a bolt diameter of 75mm 24 mm width and 10 mm bolt holes. The flex is rated for 150ft lbs of torque. (1600 is 95 ft lbs). The worn flex measured 74.6 mm diameter, 24.5 bolt hole depth and 10 mm bolt hole. I purchased the flexes on line at Action Machine for $75.92 each. ( product number below) .I have not road tested the flexes yet ,but the fit is perfect. Items in this shipment PTI GA000-024 Rubber Flex Disc × 1 Thanks you are correct, I don’t know what it was thinking. The gear ratio in first gear is 3.8. The engine develops 91 ft lbs at 3000 rpm. So it would be 345 ft lbs. appreciate the help.
