@mccusername mine was Bristol/Granada!
the one you’re thinking of, it’s probably the Nevada/Malaga one.
Turf, Atlantik will prolly look great on your car!

When I installed mine I got the green light to light up and it wouldn't start. A quick search told me to rotate the distributor slightly. Fired right

I've looked at that pic for years and thought damn...Tochi looks alot like Jackson Browne...

Maybe call the clever french guy at 123? He might be awake..

"Incredibly Sahara"...one of my favorite 02 colors
I like the Chocolate Brown idea. Like an early Porsche 911 brown... Same color group would
be make sense
Whip up some combos' on the computer...(somebody)

I'm excited to possibly sell it to a FAQ member.
I have a Craigslist ad up in Sac/SF too.
I've gotten a ton of legit calls I've put on hold while Steve gets organized. The list is up to 13
very interested parties.
In fact my phone is buzzing this very moment with an SF area code 415 number...

Are you alergic to glue?

I spent a whole day my first attempt at a door seal. I finally found a plastic trim tool kit off Amazon that would help with the 'channel'part and not hurt the rubber. It was slow going about a 1/3" at a time! A lot of a naughty words came out of my mouth as I struggled with the drivers' side lol.
I tried all the fancy 3M glues but the seals kept peeling off in the tight sections. The clear silicone saved me. Its a for 'life' type of glue... but it did take longer to dry...I bought the C Clamps to handle that job. The results were close to perfect
I love Chamonix! It's so classic. We're not talking about the early creamy Cham' but the one that looks like BMW Alpine White. It hides dust, dirt and most importantly the POLLEN....which is curse up here in the pines.
Pic is forum member Lebowski's car. He's the unofficial OG Trim Ring Mafia leader. Check out his rack. Nice rack eh lol?
Slots and Rings is not everyone's cup of tea but to me it's the look I wanted....classy. Another fact is that if you ding up a late model Slotted rim they are EASY to replace.

Ana I'm glad you posted again. I also had trouble with my new door seals. I ended using a quality clear Silicone glue from Napa combined with 6 really small 'C Clamps to keep them in place while the Silicone dried. I left the clamps on for 3 days. Done right the silicone holds the seals in like a vice'. Same on my hood and trunk seals...they are SOLID
Here's a pic of my Late model wheels with Factory trim rings on my 73tii. They came out exactly the way I wanted. Just like a 72tii I once had with the same combo. I think the combo gives the car a bit of class
The Replica Mud flaps and Pirelli CN 36 tires
complete the look I was going for
ps: A white roundie tii has been on my bucket list for a long time. You are so lucky!
I'm not sure how many there are but I've only seen one in person. Eventually I was going to strip my Malaga and paint it Chamonix! Imagine that NOT painting it Colorado or Golf.............

thanks for kind words
I know if I was looking for a tii and came across a car like mine I'd be outta' my
mind. I remember getting the car after I had a forum member do a PPi at a shop..and he said it ran great (just like skeezy owner promised me).
Psyche!
It came from Atlanta 2 weeks later and it was barely running on 3! Whoa was me!!! Who was this guy I hired and what was he smoking or how much was he smoking!!!!
Compression was great wet or dry..leakdown very good......but it was the fuel injection system that had been badly neglected.
Now the f.i. system is the best that it can ever be with Paul's injectors, Fairchilds
great pump work and Jack Fahuna's linkage.
It runs like a shaved virgin rabbit.
Nice tight stock distributor...I like it better than the 123 (so much so I sold the 123 during my parts sale last week)..

I have some serious local interest. like I'll be right there with the cash type of interest.
i've flown up to Ketchum, Idaho to the hospital where my mom was transferred to and will be there till wed..... so there will be no sale 'till I get back.
I got 2 big fish on the line. Both pretty much crazy about it (justifiably so)..and a lot of other calls I need to get to. If I knew how to create a picture file it would save me alot of time texting 120 pics one at a time lol...
