  1. The other people filed complaints with Venmo as well! He is classified as a scammer by Venmo!!! Not a random thing!!!
  2. I got my money back because Venmo described you as a scammer and refunded my money not because you gave me the money or provide any proof of shipment. There are three people with the exact same stories and three complaints to Venmo. you are a piece of work to show your face out here!!!
  3. That is great to know and will make sure to use that feature going forward. Thank you for sharing.
  4. I paid 73T111 $525 for a period radio and consol that never showed up. No product and no receipt, after weeks of back and forth I filed a complaing with Venmo and this is what I received' "My name is Ethan and I'm an Account Specialist for Venmo. Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your Venmo account, unfortunately, it appears you have been the victim of a scam. The user you interacted with and all associated accounts have been frozen and prohibited from transacting further. This guy is still trying to scam people. I have had several people reach out to me with the same issue and same exact story. I would recommend not to buy anything from him.... I am waiting to get his mailing address so I can file a police complaint.
  5. He has scammed at least three people that I know of. Two of us filed a complaint with Venmo and they apparently shut down his account and refunded out money. There must be more to the story with Venmo that what we were told about for them to close his account. Spread the word and keep this POS off this forum.
  6. Ok, let me try cleaning that all up and see if there is any improvement
  7. Updated electronic distributor and points look good. Mechanical fuel pump.
  8. Hello all, I purchased form this user and he never delivered product, provided proof shipping, or refunded the money. Since I previously posted this message, 3 other people reached out to me and reported the same experience. He is my original post: "Just an FYI. About a month ago I posted an ad on parts wanted looking for an period correct radio, to which Steven Ocampo (AKA 73Tiii) responded and we agreed on a price of $525 for the radio and a nice condition center console. I promptly paid him via Venmo and have been waiting for a the part over since. I have been in continuous communication with him and at first he hadn't had time to ship it, then he need time to disassemble the console for efficient shipping, then his brother shipped it with a bunch of things, then he was looking for the shipping conformation, and on and on. He can't provide a shipping receipt and refuses to refund the money. At this point, I have no option but to conclude I have been scammed, which is so unfortunate because I have had nothing but terrific experiences on this forum with many great people. Everyone I have dealt with prior to this was helpful, honest and positive in every sense of the word. I even had one gentleman form Virginia meet me in Massachusetts (because he was here on business) and sell me some rear seats. It's to bad some people can undermine the trust of an entire community." Since then, I file a complaint with Venmo who label my transaction as fraudulent and refunded my money. I think he is a new comer to the forum, only joined on Oct-21 and has already scammed this many people. Beware and please forward any info you have about this dude to me because I am determine to find him and get him in front of a judge.

Fortunate for me is that I paid via Venmo and Mr. Ocampo's information and identification is 100% verifiable via Venmo. So now, I will have to chase him down in Court and it will cost him far more time, money, and hassle than the meager amount he collected from me. There is still the off chance that this has been one giant series of small errors and the product will magically show up, but I doubt. Thanks all.

  11. To 73Tiii... AKA Steve oCompo comes back as service provided by OmniPoint Communications (now part of TMobile. Here is what OmniPoint is famous for; "Omnipoint Communications Incorporated used to be a phone service provider that went through various mergers and eventually became T-Mobile. The company name has resurfaced due to scam calls all across the country whose numbers are identified as "Omnipoint Communications, Inc." in New York."
  12. HI, The old parts all looked fine, actually none of it really needed to be replaced but since the car had been sitting for a while, I figured it was money well spent. The distributor has been upgraded to electronic ignition and looks fairly new The car is in acceleration mode when the misfire happens. I have to back off the throttle, downshift to get the RPMs high and then work through that range' If I accelerate very very gently, the misfire seems to be better Could this be a timing issue or a fuel starvation issue? Would it make sense to replace the fuel pump? Thanks
  13. Hi all, Would appreciate any input. I have a 74 2002 I recently purchased and overall, the car is in amazing shape. I have sorted out many of the gremlins over the past few months but there is one thing I can't figure out. At around 3,500RPM, the car will hesitate, almost like it is misfiring. SO far, I have done the following to try to fix the issue; Replaced the spark plugs Replaces cap and rotor New Bosch ignition coil New 8MM high performance spark plug wires The car fires up instantly and once past that hum, will run all day. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thank you.
  14. Quick update to everyone. I have been contacted by three people that this POS did the same thing to and Venmo has shut him down. If anyone has any more background or information on this dirt bad, please forward it along. I am making it a pet project to find this dirt bag and have him prosecuted. Thank you.
  15. Update on this dirt bag, I’ve been contacted by two people who experienced the exact same thing!!!! What a price of crap!
  16. I have filed a claim with Venmo and I will work to identify exactly who he is and where he lives. At that point I’m filing a police report, and I will reach out to everybody here to get your information so we could do it in one fall swoop. After that I’m going to file a claim in court and get that motherfucker in front of the judge one way or another. I hope to God he doesn’t show up and he has a warrant issued for him
  17. I am going to find out who this motherfucker is and we are collectively going to take him down.

  20. OK.... mystery solved!! So I opened up the gas tank this weekend after disconnecting and removing the trunk mounted battery..... Much to my disappointment, there was no stash from a prior owner or hidden treasure. Instead I found an extra 2 inch aluminum pickup tube floating around. Didn't take very much to grab it with a couple of long pieces of thin wood and pull it out. My question is; who the f....k drops something like that in there and doesn't make the effort to take it out? There it is!! Thanks for the input everyone.
  21. Maybe there is a hidden treasure in there.... hope spring internal !!
  22. Haha.... I’ll let the forum know what it is
