    Interesting that the ampilux can be wired so all 4 bulbs work when hi beam is on. My 74 tii has them and they are not wired to to burn all 4 in hi Would be very interested to learn how this is done. Anyone know how easy? Do you need.a.new harness?

    Thanks in advance for any guidance/suggestions. 74 tii that has been maintenance free for 15 years. Started to get the hesitation at 3k RPM after engine was warmed up. Did my research and saw how it was likely due to a lean mixture after the warm up transmitter had reached its' limit. Ordered the 4 mm pin for the throttle body and and 5mm hook for the pump and synced them up on the linkage clamp. Prior to the adjustment, the cam was 3 or 4 mm away from the pin. Now it won't start? I have fuel in the throttle body went trying to start. I tested and have spark. I know you need fuel, spark and air. Is air my problem? Any help would be appreciated because I am stumped. Danka

    Been there myself. I recall that by moving the fuel filter I was able to move the battery further to the passenger side and clear that corner lip. Easier than moving brake components.
