  1. I have a 1981 E21 320i with its original AM/FM/Cassette radio, which works, but I would like to keep the original an dhave it serviced/restored to hopefully make the music quality better. Any recommendations for a radio restorer?? Thanks -
  2. JDTable, bear with me a bit as I am learning all this on the job! Turns out the sub frame Sherman has is of the older version. I checked my car and it won't work for me. My steering will hit the frame. The 1979 - 1983 sub frame has a curve in it that the older versions don't. (see attached photo). I am a motivated buyer of the correct sub frame - if you can find one for me!!
  3. Yes, thank you! I do need the control arms. Can you send me a photo of what you have? What are you asking for them? Where would they be shipped from? Any ideas on sourcing the sway bar? Thanks very much.
  4. do you have the control arms as well??
  5. I am looking for a sub frame from a E21 6-cylinder (323i) to do a M20 engine swap on a 1981 320i. Any leads or offers greatly appreciated!! Thanks
  6. HobieDave never responded to me, though another member had one that he sold to me.

  8. Hi, I am looking for a HobbieDave a/c bracket - anyone able to help me??
  9. The body was in pretty good shape to start off with - it had spent the majority of its life in CA, or at least that was what I was told, who knows!! The rocker panels on both sides were replaced, this was the most extensive replacement work done, which isn't bad. I sourced the rockers from Germany - shipping was expensive, but the parts were original and not "that" expensive (pre-shipping!). I also had the front euro dam removed. I am a classic, all original kinda guy - I also like the look much better, but that is me. This required replacement of both front fenders as well (sourced from my local BMW dealer in NYC). Additional welding was required on the bottom of the doors and some spots here and there - I've captured most of this in the attached photos.
  10. Thanks for all the compliments - the full restoration was done by Andy's Spiders - he deserves all the praise, if you haven't, check out the website ( http://www.andyspiders.com/1972-BMW-2002-Tii.html ). He has some more pictures of this car (and other restoration projects) if you ever need work done, I can't recommend him highly enough. Let me know if anyone wants to see any photos of any area of the car - I will keep uploading more photos.
  11. It is an original Behr console - the car is 99.9% OEM, but it is wrapped in leather.
  12. Here are a few photos of the final product .... project took about 5 months; full body work, interior, motor rebuild, etc. ....
  13. My 2002 started out looking like this - some previous owner added the front Euro air dam - not something I cared for and it wasn't install very well (no surprise). I've always dreamed of an Inka Tii roundie and after years of looking I found this car on eBay, with factory a/c and a sunroof - but not Inka. Well, a bare metal full restoration would take care of the color and the rest of the bones where there.
  14. Do you still have the heater box? if yes, are the nylon grommets on the flap levers in tack?
  15. Is the hand brake boot still available?  If so, if it doesn't have any holes or tears, could you send a photo please?

    thanks -
