There has been some chatter about certain styled valve covers and how early they appear.  Here are a couple pics of the VC from our April 1967, 1600.  Also note the overhead oiling tube differences between the same 1600 and a 1969 2002.  The earlier version is composed of 3-pieces while the later tube is a single stamping.  A few more data points for reference.
