I'd suggest disconnecting that vacuum retard pod and capping the nipple at the base of the carb.

You'll have to excuse me but I don't see what vacuum pod you are referencing to 

I finished installing the Bavaria strut rods in my 76 and then I started working on my carb swapped 74 tii, it seems that the Weber, cylinder head, and distributor are all brand new and I put an E21 radiator in, and hopefully it'll start once I put a new battery in it. I also got the original tii engine but I'll be rebuilding that over the summer and probably swap it back in the car sometime in the winter.

I'll try and figure out where the E30 battery cable goes on the firewall tonight after dinner and relocate the battery to the trunk

I bought some parts that I'll install Sunday afternoon if all goes well

My 02 gets fixed more by me at the VW dealership where I work than the BMW dealership

I'll give a little update since I posted last. I've got 195/45/15 Toyo T1R tires on 15x7/8 BBS RS wheels with coilovers front and rear as well as adjustable camber plates and Bavaria lower control arms up front. So far the setup is wonderful, however I'll be getting slightly stiffer rear springs whenever I get around to it

Does anybody have some shortened front strut housings for sale? Figured I could buy them on here cheaper than cutting up my own. I'm looking to do coilovers all around, the rears are already complete, just waiting for the fronts to be done before I install anything.

Does this one have foggy speedometer and tach dials? Mine does and I'd like to fix it or replace it with the black cluster as it has the wood grain

I always wondered if all manuals were orange, it is exactly the same color as my car so I didn't know if they were color coded or not
