    Thanks for the insights on the 02 automatic transmission. We have a 1974 02 with an automatic transmission that we race and are looking to upgrade the transmission. One of out drivers is missing his right arm so we need to stick with the auto trans but we're thinking there had to be a way to upgrade to a trans with a fourth gear so that we could reach a higher top.speed and get some more acceleration when we came out of the corners. (we are also looking at the Weber DCOE 50 carb for some added power). Has anyone ever run across, or know how one might accomplish, this type of modification?
