    It’s not black chrome, but chrome it is! of course anyone not liking the chrome could paint them or strip and powder coat. The metal is in very good shape, not rust not a lot of work, or just use them brilliantly as is!

    Someone’s got love this! It’s a chromed tii air box, its very clean, could be refinished if you don’t like chrome (it came to me this way). One small ding as seen in pics, no biggie, part looks very good imho. And man this thing makes things look FAST! Gotta put this on your racer! Ok FAQ, there it is! Chris R. $450 OBO + $50 shipping

    Hi, I bought it new manufactured by someone on this FAQ but it was probably more than 7 years ago and I don’t remember the name. It’s very well made, looks cool, I just never installed it.

    I bought this new and never installed it, the metal is all excellent, the wood is unfinished as it was delivered, just needs a light sanding and your choice of paint or varnish. Comes with all parts needed for install. This is beautifully made, lightweight but strong. $325 Plus shipping $125 or local pickup. Thanks! (Photo on car not mine but same style for example)

    This is an one piece dash in excellent condition! One tiny blemish and two tiny hairlines that are all barely visible in tray area. (check detailed pictures) The underside looks to have a few screw holes, maybe a panel was attached or consul area? not visible from front view. Pickup or drop off locally available in SE CT. Shipping is extra and there would be no returns if shipped. This is a great dash, would be beautiful once installed.

    Sorry about that, I meant to ask which tires! Are you happy with the ride on those tires? Have you had any rubbing with the 195-50-15?

    Thanks for the reply c.d., Actually Nate, i believe, at SCR was recommended by some friends who had a M-Benz done there, but that was a restore, I gathered that they it might be good for the more intensive projects i need, but not for tuneups etc. I would like to have someone go over the whole car with me, so i can get an idea of the future work i've been mulling over. When i bought the car, two years ago now, it was ready to be just driven, had been cared for by a meticulous and knowledgeable previous owner, but i haven't been able to get it on the road so much until recently and now just want to have a mechanic i can rely on who knows the tii's.

    Hi All, I am wondering if anyone can recommend a mechanic/garage in the Fairfield or South Ct area. I have a '73 tii in need of general maintenance and tuneup at the moment and other projects, ie: suspension and other things down the road. Thanks, Chris
