Yesterday I finished installing the mounts, and while I had the intake removed (because I worked from the top) I cleaned the throtle body with carb cleanner because it was gunky and filthy as hell(had to SKAPE with a skrewdriver). my car is much smoother now. Not to mention the better and improved shifthing too!!

yeah, what's a reasonable price for a re-build since mine is still running but could use a rebuild soon??(somewhat smokes and has a toxic smell)-don't mean to hijack.

I'm a Valet Attendant (for a casino and hotel) for 5 1/2 yrs now, driving some really nice cars and also shitty ones. I really enjoy driving any mercedes AMG V8 powered.

I guess I should also ask if the unique bent/design on one end serves for any purpose? I mean cause the right mount is plain, or rectangular..

The mount came completely apart when I tried to go up a steep hill frm a stopped position(loud clunk!). I didn't realize until I drove it the next time. I already have the part but don't know which way it goes...pictures anyone
