Tail Lights still available?
-
Is this still available?
thanks
-
Thats great!! My soon to be project is an M42 conversion...will run 9.5 pistons and cammed a bit. May not realize the MPG you get but should still put me in the low 30's a gallon at close to 180HP. SHould be a sweeeeet ride
What cam work are you going to do? 5 degree advance on the intake and leave the exhaust stock? ive heard of slight power gains from that mod.

How many gallons of fuel was the fill in Durango and again in Denver?
i do not remember how many gallons it was in Durango... (actually Bayfield right outside of durango.)
but the stock tank holds i think 13.5 gallons (irrelevant)
When i got back to Denver i filled up and the tank would only take 7.99 gallons..
Google maps showed the exact route to be 325 miles to my house... and i went home and then to the gas station, so the calculation could be slightly conservative.

I went on a road trip from Denver to Durango this weekend.
And on the way back i averaged 40.665 Miles per Gallon!!!
That is including driving directly through downtown Denver.
I was still having fun on the passes as well.
This is not based on a high reading odometer, i used google maps to figure out the exact mileage. Filled up when i left Durango and filled up when i arrived in Denver took just under 8 gallons to get here.

i forgot the name of the company but theres a m62 installation kit out there no cutting or welding required just drill some small holes and bolt in some brackets. instant 350+ hp & 400 ft. lb. torque
HAHAHAHA looks like i should have taken the easy M62 swap route instead of the M42.
Whoops.
I plan to get around 250 when i inevitably turbo my M42 swap.

Nardi still available?
-
What diff does it have?
-
If it is the Sport steering wheel the part number is either:
32331109741 or 32331113744
I think...
-
Thanks Tito,
Things have been moving along slowly. Here's how the workbench sits right now, you can see the diff is pulled apart waiting for the limited slip pumpkin ..... I'll be running an E21 open case with a E36 318 pumpkin, will hopefully have full write up before the month is out.
I am very interested in doing this, as i have an E36 LSD laying around at the shop. Are you going to put the whole E36 pumpkin in the e21 casing? or just the actually limited slip component?

It must have solid front suspension as to not rub on the headers.
Looks like the body is actually in really good shape.
I wonder if it still handles like stock. HAAHAHA
-
Ill buy those turn signals from you right now.
that car is not what i was expecting, I'd buy that for 300 british pounds.
if its too much of a project... part it out, make some extra cash to buy one thats in better condition.

Strong work! Me likey. It looks really clean. I prefer the look over a big air-damn. Might you be persuaded to make another?
Thank you! Yeah i could make another one fit.
Nice work. I really like that a) its outside the box, but because you made another period part fit! I get the feeling that would look ok with a bumper bar fitted at the same time too...Thank you! I have been wondering that, but i think it would look good with a nice euro bumper. I dont think i want bumpers though.
-
Looks good. Is it a straight bolt on or did you have to modify it?
Nah i had to persuade it to fit a lot.
used a heat gun.
I like it a lot.

I have wanted to do the exact look on my hybrid beast , thanks I'm getting one on ebay , cheap too
