  2. Great article - about to start on all this stuff myself
  3. Thanks mate. Tried this but there are no sign of any screws in the panels?? I can slide my fingers behind the panel for most it's edges but not the slightest sign of it parting company with the car!
  4. Hi All, Novice question coming up :-) I am beginning to strip my '02 for restoration and wonderedhow to remove the rear interior trims (door trims). Didn't want to damage anything. Have done the same thing on my E30 and just used a flat trim removal tool and popped the clips. Help!!
  5. All cars in Australia are RHD (same as UK). BMWs are fully imported (ie ready to drive) here. Early stuff (up til about E36 I think) direct from Munchen and after that some came from South Africa. Not sure how many 2002s are left in Australia but the number would be rapidly dwindling and probably fairly low in the first place due to import costs. I can't imagine there would be even a thousand left. You are correct, RHD has hanging pedals with a linkage system across to master cylinders, etc
  6. Hi there, After years of BMW E30 ownership I added to my fleet with a 1974 2002 just before Christmas Looking forward to learning all about this great little machines. Couple of first up questions: 1. Some good sources of parts (these cars are quite rare in Australia) 2. Some suggestions for replacement of the stock "bus" steering wheel with something suitably retro 3. Some suggestions for replacement wheels (13" steel atm) 4. What is the best spring upgrade (thinking lowered about 35mm). Have Eibachs on the E30 and love 'em. Do they make Eibachs for the E10? TIA.
