  1. Russ, Please count me in for two long decals, and two short decals. Thanks, Paul
  2. This car has been sold...the owner must not have deleted the craigslist ad yet. DUDOK bought the car: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,344953/
  3. The owner called me today to advise that the car was sold. Was it a FAQ'er who bought it? (I would love to hear the details - as this may be "the one that got away" for me...I had to cancel my Sat. appointment with the seller)
  4. I am heading to the Milwaukee area next weekend, and was wondering if anyone has seen (or driven) either of these cars....any help/insight would be appreciated. BMW - 1974 - 2002A Classic Date: 2010-04-30, 9:18AM This is a 1974 -2002A - Automatic in splendid condition. All the necessary work has been carried out over the last two years. Exhaust system, new brake lines, calipers, brakes cables, master cylinder, radiator, hoses, belts, gas tank, fuel lines, tires, engine & transmission mounts, drive shaft bearings etc. The list just goes on. I am the second owner since new (aside of estate handling) and have an interesting story. The interior is in amazing and perfect condition, the engine and transmission run as if it were new. There has never been a radio in it, so no holes at all cut in to the panels. Don't for get the mechanical sunshine roof!! The photos were taken at an indoor classic BMW show last year. Please feel free to call for more photos or to come and see it. This car is worth a lot more than I am asking, genuine reason for sale. Please feel free to call Mike – 414-379-1067. It is a Colorado car and has never seen a winter, nor any salt and has been garage kept. I bought it at an estate sale over 10 years ago in Denver. It was literally a Grandma's car. I got it from the Grandson who didnt like the four doors much. 93,000 actual miles, 40k from me. Big Six motor with dual Zenith Carburetors (rebuilt). Borg Warner Automatic transmission. I replaced all brake and gas lines in 2002. To combat the known overheating issue of this model, in 2003 I upgraded the radiator with a new larger capacity one which corrected the issue immediately. Original Baby Moons and Trim Rings. Near perfect interior. This vehicle also features the original trunk lid tool kit and all tools. The trunk is also dry and rust free. Paint is in excellent shape. Third Place winner of a 2004 Denver Concourse D'Elegance event for most original BMW. There are very few Bavarias left in the US, This one will look fantastic on the track at the Vintage Event at Elkhart Lake. You will not find a car this clean. Serious inquiries only please. I couldn't part with it if it wont be going to a BMW or car enthusiast who knows what we've got here. Check www.nadaguides.com for pricing info and contact me via email to take it for a drive. It's quite an experience. Location: Mequon it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests Original URL: http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/1687697195.html
