  1. What we have here is the Interior portion of a Clardy Air Conditioning unit. The parts included in this sale are the all the Fascia Covers, including the Shift Console side pieces and the Condensor w/ Knobs / Switches. I've been sitting on a couple of these units as spares and I'm just now thinking that I could stand to maybe part with one. All Fascia pieces including the vents are in great condition and the Condensor too is in pretty darn nice condition. I'd like to get $100.00 for all of the pieces, but I'd consider a Parts trade if you have something I need. Lemme' know. Thanks, Ken (RALPHUS29@YAHOO.COM)
  2. Ha! I'm right there with you pal. I'm axious to see what you come-up with. My design will utilize the bottom portion of the original heater box, but the top portion will utilize a relatively / somewhat thick piece of sheet metal with a rectangular cut out where the fans will mount. The fans will be mounted to sliding panel that will stay put with a single stainless sheet metal screw. Upside down "L' shaped brackets will be welded on to allow the fan portion to easily slide in and out in-case one of the fans requiren replacing. I'm currently researchig fans too. I'll keep you appraised of how things progress. - Ken

  5. The pipe I'm talking about is the pipe that runs between the exhaust manifold and the EGR Filter. It's half Pipe and half Stainless Steel Braided Hose. It's been NLA for quite sometime. As it acrually cam in a couple of different sizes it turns out, I'm actually having it made 1.3" in order to accomodate the two different sizes made earlier and later manifolds. As for the EGR Valves, that's probably the next one I'll be figuring out. Then.. the Automatic Shifter Films. - K
  6. Fellas.. Sadly.. as most of you are aware, we here in Cali still have to deal with the Governator's Smog Crap. Needless to say, there's a couple of major parts that just aren't available new to us anymore. In particular, the Braided Stainless Steel Hose that runs from the Exhaust Manifold to the EGR Filter. I'm currently talking with a couple of hose mfg's right now and have sent out an original sample for them to review and give me a quote on. Bare in mind that I'm not shooting for a direct replica of the original, but rather a slighlty longer SS Braided Hose with the correct fittings as the original hose had. I'm curious to know if there are any of you out there that might also be interested in obtaining one of these hoses, proviing I can get the made at a decent price. Thanks, Ken (ralphus29@yahoo.com)
  7. Am interested. How bad is it? Thanks, Ken (ralphus29@yahoo.com)
  8. Hey Guys... If any of you have the following pieces that you'd like to get rid of, let me know. - Fuse Box Cover - Front Center Grill - Front Driver Side Control Arm Thanks, Ken (ralphus29@yahoo.com)
  9. Thanks Wagner. That's what I figured. I didn't want to take off the top, but I reckon I probably will. Just in effort to clean it up in the process. - Ken
  10. Fellas.. I'm about to replace the gasket on my timing cover. I've never done this before, but would like to make sure I've got my bases covered when I do it. I'm doing this mainly because I've got a small leak going on between joint mating surfaces. My questions are... - Do I remove the Chain Tensioner before removing the cover or can I just remove the cover with the Tensioner Assembly as a whole? - I'm guessing that when I have the cover off, I should probably replace the entire Tensioner assembly as well... "While I'm in there?" Thanks Fellas. KenGilroy
  11. Yeah.. I here you there. I think I may be going that route as well. Besides a bad CR, I've got that ding-danged Thermo Nuclear Reactor bidness going on as well. :-( "Lovely!" - K
  12. Fellas... Silly question and I apologize for it, BUT.. can you tell me just what exactly the CR is supposed to do and just what exactly is inside of it? I have a sort of loose sheet metal sound emanating from either the engine compartment or underneath my car. That I can tell too, there ain't no loose sheet metal flopping or vibrating around in the engine compartment.. I half believe that it's maybe the CR just gone bad. Also.. another one for ya'... "Can ya' tell me what exactly is supposed to be inside the EGR Filter?" Thanks, Ken
  13. MJ.. What Smog parts do you have? I'm interested. Lemme' know, Sir. Thanks, Ken (ralphus29@yahoo.com)
  14. Heya... I need... - Fuse Box Cover (for a '76) - Front Kidney Grill (for a '76) Ping me if ya' have them at a decent price, please. KenGilroy (ralphus29@yahoo.com)

  16. Heya Chris.. It came with quite a few extra pieces. Some of which were the Smog sysyem pieces and some not. Whenever I hit the local P'n'P's, I try to scop out the '77-'78 320i's and take from them what's good for our 02's. That said, I have quite a few 2002 Smog pieces that I've already put on the car. As for the cost of that Smog Pump, that's terrible. I would never pay that. If you hit-up Pelican Parts.. you can get a newly remanufactured one for $80-some dollars. That's much more do-able. Did you end-up getting rid of your '02 then? I'm half thinking of opening an Ebay '02 store that caters strictly to '76'02'. Most of the parts would be nicely used. Some of them though, I'd maybe look into newly manufacturing them. Hoses, EGR Filters, Etc. Am still looking into it though. - K
  17. Thanks for the heads-up, Karl. Good pics. I'll probably be going with the small Ireland one's. I'm still going to retain my 13" Rims, but am bumoping-up to some pretty fat Gotti wheels. On-top of that, I like the profile of the car when it has those flares bolted on. How did you deal with rear quarter panel "swiss cheese" rust? - K
  18. I had been watching this car on Ebay for quite some time when it was being auctioned off. Even mailed the guy a couple times asking a few questions about it and as luck would have it, the car was just over the hill from where I live. Aptos, CA. Sadly, I had missed out and some else had moved-in quickly to stake their clame. When I tuned back into Ebay to see how the car was doing, the auction had ended and only at $230-some dollars. Whelp.. a couple days later, the guys emails me to tell me that the winning bidder had backed out. It turns out, the winning bidder thought the car was drivable even though the auction description said that it wasn't. Long story short, the seller offered me the car for $200.00 and my wife being the angel she is, agreed to let me buy the car to fix it up into a drivable state and then sell it. THAT was my original intentions. BUT.. now after getting the car actually going and driving it a bit.. she's become somewhat fond of it.. and now I'm leaning towards fixing it up for her as nice little putt putt around town car. Anyway, what I've posted below are the picture the seller sent to me when I was asking about it. After this here initial posting, I'll start posting the little-by-little restoration pics of her as I go along. Feel free to join in and comment or question if ya' like. - Ken

  20. Heya KB.. OK, so it's looking like they basically clipped the lip off then. That's sorta' the route I thought they would take. I haven't made up my mind just yet in regards to the flares, but probably just the small turbo one's. "The one's that essentially replace just the lip." :-/ I'd like to see more if possible though. - Ken
  21. Fellas, I have a question. I'm looking to add aftermarket fender flares to my '02, but what I'm curious to know, is how much of the actual fender to you clip off? Is it the lip itself or? Also.. Would any of ya' happen' to have Before and After pic's of your fenders before you clipped the lip off and put the flares on? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks, Ken
