  1. As the title says. What you got? Tossing on a set of DCOE 40's, figured I'd toss a line out here to see if anyone has anything while I continue to peruse and get sniped on ebay and before I break down and just order a new kit.

Ti manis, Karzundpartz, Cannon, IE, whatever works.

    What you got?

43026 zip code, just for shipping's sake.

  2. Gruppe,

Induldge my thinking out loud for a moment here. I've dug through the archives and read every thread that pops up on the search feature, and have seen the question asked a few times, but never seen an actual answer.

Is anyone running the lynx single sidedraft manifold with a DCOE 40 vs a 45?

Obviously, a 45 would be more ideal, but I've noticed that used 40's seem to go for much less of a premium on ebay, so the thought has popped up in my head a bit.

Motor is going to be a fairly mild street build (as of right now), got a stock rebuilt E12 head, may go mild cam, may end up bumping compression a little, headers, but nothing extreme. For sake of argument, let's assume stock cam and stock-ish 75-76 compression with something along the lines of an IE header.

Anyone running something similar? Obviously with a 45, you can detune it enough to be nice on the street, is a 40 going to have issues tuning up enough for this setup? Anyone vouch for the "street" driveability of a setup like this?

    Thanks.

  3. The sealers that they've laid down at Mid Oh the past two years have almost made the track undriveable in the wet. It's really getting bad. You can't go anywhere *near* the dry line if there's real water on track. Last year you could at least put two wheels on the sealer and be all right, now they've laid even more down, and it's just soild ice. It's really nasty.

  4. Gruppe,

Years of rust & M10 vibrations seem to have done their job this past weekend, out driving and got a change in the usual 4k harmonic buzz to a much louder buzz, audible valve tick, and then backfiring.

Pop the hood, to see smoke pouring out of the #3 header pipe every time I rev it. Fun. I haven't pulled it off yet to inspect further, but I'm going to go ahead and assume it's got a nice crack in it. Car is a California '76, header is a non-thermal reactor stock unit of unknown vintage. Downpipe from the header is pretty old too and getting some rust on it, and center resonator is pretty much trash.

So, center piece is getting replaced. Upon inspection, a new downpipe isn't cheap, and a set of shorty headers isn't a small expense either. This is where popping on ebay gets me in trouble. Has anyone had any experience with the deluboz (probably chinese ebay knockoff) full length headers?

Search on here didn't turn up too much. Does anyone, or has anyone had any experience installing these with the engine still in the engine bay? Do they meet up with a stock center resonator?

    Thanks.
