My '73 2002 purchase last week came lowered and wanting a 100% stock '02, I want it a bit higher. I was told the struts were cut. Not thinking that was possible, how do I tell if it was the springs or struts that were cut? Struts are easy to do, but how about spring replacement? Are they readly available?
As always...many thanks

Dude! you are my hero. I want that interior and the engine. Mine came with a spare engine and I think it's time to start working on it!
Incredible Job!!!!

Looked in archives and found nothing. In my bid for a authentic restoration, I noticed that my spare and tank covers are wood with vinyl covers. Also no tool kit or jack but I'm guessing e-bay. Is the wood stock and are tool kit and jack commonly available?

I have some from my '73 that I can send off in a bit. If they suck, I can do them off my phone camera...it works better on occation.

I'm sure this has been asked, answered, so on, but who has a good site/source for wiring diagrams. I just bought my first 02 (1973 roundie) after years of waiting. I'm going to take it 100% stock original. It has a Ford fuse box but the original is still in place. Many Thanks!

It's a longshot, but see if your ignition stuck in the start position. All systems like wipers and blinkers are disabled to save power from the battery and use for the starter. Grinding could have been the bendix in the start position on the flywheel
