  2. I have these corbeaus: 2 (passenger and Driver) LG1s Driver side has a tear near the butt. and a minor on the bolster. These seats can be dyed easily as well. thanks. looking for 350 OBO for the pair. also willing to trade for some things such as an oil cooler setup alpina wheel/horn ETc LSD a turbocharger anything else that may interest me.
  3. IM IN CALI BAY AREA AND WOULD LOVE A fiberglass hood to trade for my metal one. Let me know if it's still available!!!
  4. This thread has been making me laugh out loud! ahaha blunt and Otis FTW
  5. Im actually in the market for a different turbo, all I ahve is an off brand ebay turbo to get the car goin. What size would you recommend? my back up turbo's oil seal broke so it needs to be rebuilt or sold. it was a .42 ar 40 trim.
  6. alright guys! Im going to the fabric store this weekend and Im going to check out the 2002 for the best mounting solutions I have a few good Ideas. Ill be pickin up black leather or pleather, as well as Red thread, leather thread, and alcantra/suede if I can get a hold of some. Im gettin down to work now!
  7. switched pick ups with Armonds s14 pump. Thing was in tip top shape. Not a speck of grease, not a bit of dirt, shiny inside, and was still tight/ immaculate! Thanks guys for the great advice. Im thinking about in the future creating a upgraded pick up in a machine shop for fun. seems like it could be cool!
  8. Hey, I havent forgotten. Im in the process of learning how to sew VIA sewing machine. I assumed most would want it done by sewing machine, but I prefer hand stitching. Speak up so that the voices are heard! Morgan
  9. Cd, you never cease to crack me up. What is funny is that I bought harnesses near the beginnig of the build so the gf dad would feel safer with me having the car haha
  10. So my engine is a 2L 8.5:1 compression. Forged pistons head is a 1.8I head with +1mm stainless exhaust valves. the camshaft is a 290 degree schirck copy with either 9.5mm or 10.0mm of lift. the head has been ported and polished very efficiently. tubular exhaust header, with a 38mm tial external wastegate. turbo is a .63 AR 50 Trim. Im soon going to be hunting a new turbocharger. such as an HX30 or HX35 sized holset i didnt catch your email address so I just typed it our here lol.
  11. how much of an advantage is that really? I cant reallyafford the lee set-up, but it is interesting to understand how one thing is better than the other for a curiosity stand point. Looks like it doesnt matter what pump I grab really, Therefore i'll probably go for that s14 pump from armond, check the internals. and keep the pickup in case in the far future I wanna do a hot oil pan set up
  12. so does that mean the evo s14 pump will work with the 2002 oil pickup head? Or it is not a good idea?
  13. I bet I would be safer with an OEM BMW s14 pump with (<5K) miles than picking up a new febi pump. I have my spare OEM 320i pump and my 2002 pump. and As it looks by the internals they are pretty robust. Ill look at the internals of the s14 pump and make sure they are qualified for possible replacement. but at Sub 5k it's almost a wash. Ill just swap dipstick tubes! Morgan Also just found this: http://www.vacmotorsports.com/catalog/bmw---s14-sport-evo-oil-pump.htm And Also the Rotors inner and outer together are around 75 Dollars. BTW I would by the s14 evo pump for roughly 75-80Dollars
  14. Hey hey, Im nearing the end of the bottom end build of the 2002 Turbo, and pretty much the funds are done (if I want to still get friends/ (g/f's family) presents). I realized that the oil pump I have was not new, but old, which leaves me in a perdicament. OIl pumps can be had for anywhere from 150 - 405 dollars from brands such as Meyle, Febi, and OEM BMW. Unforunately I cant afford OEM BMW which Is what I would ultimately rather have. However, I ultimately question Meyles quality(150$ with 2yr warrant), and fee more secure about Febi (250$) Blunt headed me in the right direction, but a third party stepped in. my homie Armond as you all know, has an S14 (Evo I believe) pump, I know the evos put out a little bit for pressure... but anyway. Its at a price I can hardly refuse, and I believe the pump is a low mileage pump, <10K.... however. I put nearly everything I had on the line for this build, and am not so sure about the margin of risk Involved. Just seeking the advice of you all, and it is easier to organie my thoughts as I write them. Happy Holidays!!!! Morg
  15. Dude, you are a champ. If you get a chance, could you email me a Screen shot of your timing Table? Also, What would you recommend is the key to the hidden power of turbocharged engines ?

  18. Never even seen a urethane failure like that before. there different grades of urethane, some of which can be as soft as rubber.
