    Where do you live? How far do you drive? The 02 is a decent little car, easy to work on. Would not recommend it in Mountainous terrain in the winter (RWD) or on long freeway commutes ( revs kinda high) It requires tinkering A LOT there will be always something to do since it is a 30 year old car.

    Well at least there is a support group, it's good to know I can come here an people understand. The Family has made calls to the local Psyciatrist and scheduled an appointment,even though I don't think they need it ! Maybe somebody can come up with an acronym. BB Blazing Beemers ?     So I have this car , it's old, slow and(tempera)mental. every time I drive it I find something else to fix or tinker with, can't hear the stereo over all the wind noise. I'm constantly looking to "improve" upon it and eventually I will have spent lots of $$ only to get beat by a new 170HP Civic. At least my last illness 74 Alfa GTV was sexy but Helga here.... So my ?? is, is there a known cure? Will I pass it on to my children? Can the symtoms be treated? Or am I just stuck cruising this website and E- Bay always looking for something and the everpresent grime under the fingernails rotting away my flesh. I somewhat successfully handle my other illness (Honda VFR750F).

    It's genaral purpose aviation grease, used for lower RPM driveshaft bearings hinges and Mainrotor heads etc, a little better than Aeroshell22 but still seems to seperate easy. For the price I go with the Mobil 1 synthetic grease at the local auto shop.

    Just replaced my 76's Instrument cluster (Speedo went ape) with a 72? unit. Now the Brake light stays on and there is NO power going to the P Brake switch or the reservoir contact. Do the older instrument clusters have a different internal wiring then the later models.Or is there a Ground I need to disconnect?

    I think using GSXR carbs would not do so well at low RPM high Manifold pressure with their small dia. air volume might be a problem feeding a cylinder twice the size of what the carb was designed for. But I think setting up 4 48 mil dia carbs would be equal to a 45 dual side drafts.

    Has anyone out here tried to fit a set of four individual Carbs? I was thinking like a Honda VTR 1000, the displacement is about the same (500 per cylinder) they are 48mm throttle bodies CV carbs. Anybody experimented with stuff like that?

    I would like comments on using a Momo steering wheel, Deep dish vs. regular, best diameter for a non powersteering 02. Also what kind of offset is acceptable to have on Rims on the 02's?

    Just got this 02 a 76. Other than brakes there are no immediate needs. So where should I start ? Go with oversized brakes or suspension or body and paint? Very little rust, has been a high desert car. The front bumper had to go and the PO put a trailer hitch on it.
