  1. That is sweet!! That is exactly what I'd hoped to do with mine. But I had hoped to do it over time. Awesome job. However, I don't think I have the skill sets you have nor the extra $. Plus I don't think my better half would be down with it. TVA
  2. Picture is from Driver side rear. As you can see I have serious rust and the car is now no longer road worthy. Despite this issue, the car is(was) actually a nice car and it runs good. I drove it almost daily. 1970 Agave Green 2002 w/ apprx 110k miles. Will the estimated cost to repair exceed the car's reasonable value? Should I part it out? Anybody encountered similar circumstances? What did you do? Thanks in advance, TVA
  3. The pic of your engine is SWEET. I'm speechless....
  4. Thanks. I appreciate the assist.
  5. Anyone had any experience with dash overlays or vehicle-interior-parts.com? Also is there a difference between a 1970 and a 1974-76 dash? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks, TVA
  6. In the pic you see two brass thumb screws in the middle of the fuel and temp gauge cluster. I grounded those to the body by making a "Y" ground wire. Tops of the "Y" attach to the ground screws the other end gets secured to the body. it would be a good idea to add a male /female spade connector in the "tail" of the Y so you can easily disconnect. Anyway, that what I did and it woked for me. TVA
