STP. Avoid Fram at all costs. Do a little searching on it, and you'll find out Fram filters are extremely crappy, have sloppy quality control, etc.
Hmmm.........My Dad has used Fram for as long as I know. Ive used Fram filters on every car Ive owned for the last 10 years and have never had any issues with them.

My girlfriend got me a Lincoln Electric welder. Still need to install a 230v outlet to power the thing. I got her a used Playstation 2 and some games. I also got her a Taurus PT-92 airsoft pistol. She loves that thing!

Nasty! Someone posted that a few months ago. I think it was a fox. Poor thing. That driver must have been going real quick for that to happen.

This video makes me want to hit somebody.

WTF!!!! They must be from the 2002 Jesus owned!

I sold mine not to long ago and I believe they used 02 engine mounts. But I have heard that his (Williams) early mounts needed some "tweaking" to get a perfect fit. Good luck!

I agree 100% with Alp and Charlie. Do what you wish. Its your money. Cortinas are rare and this might be your only opportunity to grab a good example. If your girl has a problem with it, oh well.

Thanks, Gordon! Good luck and stay safe out there!

Hey, thats a good idea! Ive got my 02s original roundels in the trunk. I think my girl wont mind if I hang them from her tree.

Sorry for the off topic question. My girlfriend just got me a Lincoln Electric 175 Mig welder as an early Christmas gift to help me get a jump start on my 02. The problem is that it runs off a 208/230 volt outlet with the large 3 prong connecter, which my house does not have. We are both new to welding and didnt notice this. We got it to learn how to weld. Is there a step up voltage converter that can be used to power the welder? Or do we have to return it and get a 110 volt powered one. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looks good, bro! When I switched to LED brake lights I moved the wiring around. I made the top of the light (square light 02) the brake light because you could remove the reflector. Then all you have left is a very clear, red plastic lense. This made the LEDs much brighter than it would have been with the reflector in place.

Go to L.A. craigslist. There are a couple of people parting out 02s in the auto part section. Good luck!

Check the coolant control valve under the hood, below the windsheild on the passenger side of the car. The valve is controlled via a cable when you adjust the temp. dial in the car. The valve allows you to regulate the temp of your heater/defroster. The cable may have snapped off or became loose. Or the valve is stuck in the closed position. Good luck!

I had an Ireland Engineering header that I never installed and sold through the FAQ and it looked just like yours.

Man, the French build some funky looking cars!

Im going to be purchasing a complete instrument panel from a fellow faqer to replace mine. I was just wondering how I go about removing the panel as a whole. Ive never done this and I dont want to break anything. Thanks!

Congrats on your graduation! I might be the only one on this boat, but this is the car I would choose. My cousin had a 1993 Nissan Sentra SE-R. It was quick and handled great for a FWD car. The SR20DE motor is great. Powerful and efficient. Here's some more info.

Trick or Treat
Norm
Wow never seen one of those. What is it?
Thats a BMW 700. I don't think they were officialy imported here, though. Here's some info.

Subaru's use a flat four boxer engine, like Porsche. I love the way they sound, too. But this is the sound i'd love to hear from my 02.

I disconnected mine. Sure it gets alittle hot and uncomfortable, but I didnt mind it at all. My 200SX has A/C. But in the summer time I only used it when my girlfriend and her daughter were in the car with me. I guess im just accustomed to opening my windows and letting the air cool me off. Besides, summers in L.A. are not that bad. Its only hot for a couple of months. The rest of the time the weathers great. If you had moved to Pomona or Santa Clarita, then I would have said to connect it. It gets hot as hell in the valleys.

Here's a video of that white, flared 02. Man, I love that sound!!

All I know is that its a 264 degree cam.
Up and down steering wheel play, how to address?

Check the steering wheel nut, it may have loosened up a bit.
