Emily is doing very well. She has new shoes and a refreshed interior with
GTS lo back seats fresh carpet, new door pannels etc..Still have the Alpina wheels.Other than the interior and taking care of her she has treated me well this last year.
I came from a very clean survivor tii 72 in inka.and the difference in power is outstanding.
Now with spring here again,I'm driving her just about every day and dodging the DC cops.Yesterday I had a Norweigen diplomat wanting to buy her.Good laugh at any rate.
Thanks

Mine is 2 years old.It is a stroker w/headwork,300 cam, twin weber 45s and she runs great no complaints.
I just had a few questions for Erik.

Does anyone have Erik Kermins telephone or e-mail .My stroker motor was built by him.
The P.O. the honorable Paul Wegweiser was the p.o. and a #1 guy as well.
Just need contact info.
Thanks

It is very cool how the car has been shortened into a 2 seater.Sloppy looking fast hack work, rough BUT
As a semi-purist its sickening but somehow it is pretty sharp.

Clay,
There are'nt any plastic chromers locally to the best of my knowledge.
Pick up a copy of Hemmings ,they list several to choose from.

Clay,
Very very nice project you have there....
If you need some help give a shout.

TEP makes an aluminum set of runners that bolt on replacing your current plastic set-up. I do miss my 72 tii and all the fun Kuglefischer tweaks etc.

Tell him Jonathan sent you.

So far so good .My 45s are set correctly and the stroker runs very strong.
After my 72 stock tii this 73 is much quicker.
I have not done any track time, just some spirited street driving.

Jim,
Was that the 100 amp.alternator? That is a bitch to get out.A 320i belt worked best with the extra length needed.
Patina looks great,a little hard not seeing the o.g. patina but she will be a gorgeous one.And by the way you are the 3rd. owner which gives you some 02 status I suppose.

I was out there today.Glad you are back.A get together would be welcomed.

Really nice I must say.I was never aware that a black 75 could be so appealing.
The luxe package,is great. But this lucky owner has the blow up front window, yes that's a bizzare BMW 2002 option.Love it.

The advertised prices are all over the board.Unique, restored, tastfully modified, history and condition all work to keep prices for the better cars.
Dollars do not promise much but the right cars are achieving good results.
I think the 2002 will continue to increase in value.Just a thought or two.

Really put up a fight with the insur.co.They always have room to wiggle a few more well deserved dollars. Then perhaps a repair can begin.
If I can help shoot me an e-mail and we can discuss.
