  1. Hi,

the two most likely problems are the washer wiring from the distributor area to the pump. the second is the wiring from the body thru the clips on the floor pan to the reverse light switch.

isolate or disconnect both sets and try the fuse again. look for cracked or worn wiring around clips which hold the wires in place.

    good luck

Thanks. Just the advice I needed on where to start looking. Cheers.

  2. The number 12 fuse in my 72 tii conversion blows pretty much immediately. This is the one the controls the wipers, turn signals, back up lights, etc....

When I put in a new fuse, the wipers kind of go nuts and won't shut off and the fuse goes. Does have intermittent wipers?

Electrical issues are not a strong area for me. Am I looking at a ground issue? Short? Bad (insert part name here)?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks.

  3. oh the high point of my day,,, cameron came over to check out my car and brought along a set of coops billet axle stubs he never ended up using. he gave them to me for a really nice deal so ill be using those on my new tii arms. thanks cameron

Car looks great. Really shines in person and it will be quiet on the inside with the sound deadening material. Was great to see it in person. Glad the billet stub axles will get some good use. like I said, it was going to be awhile before I ever used them so I wanted them to go to a good home. Plus I will get you to give me a ride in the car when done.

  4. The new Roundel arrived and I just finished Mike's article on the Mini Dinan S. Sounds great. What was also great was reading about friends from the faq here and seeing some photos of your cars in print. Mike, when are you coming to Minnesota to test the newest BMW sled?

  5. Still going to run sports and the stiffer springs? I am curious, because on my stock 69, I want to tighten it up a bit. One option is the Kormann roadsport kit. HD's, urethane, and springs that drop the car 1/2 inch or so. But others have really liked OEM rubber with better shocks and springs. So....
