I purchased this car intending to do a full body and drivetrain restoration. With the possible addition of an m42 motor. With another restoration already underway I’d like to see if someone out there wants to take over. Frankly the car could be left as is cosmetically and restored mechanically, it has nice patina. Happy to negotiate delivery.

Can you elaborate on “virtually rust free”? Has the car been repainted since new? Any bubbles? How much rust on the bottom of the car and frame rails? Any accidents repaired? (I’m assuming so if it’s “relatively straight.”) Were all the electronics functional when the car was taken apart? What kind of shape is the chrome belt line trim in? Windows go up and down smoothly? Body dings/dents/repairs? I swore that I wouldn’t buy another, and I’d have to drive cross country to get it, but I’m interested if this is a solid base for a retromod. I knew i should’ve gone to sleep, already.

Hey Seth,

I haven’t found any rust on the pan or rails whatsoever. The car has lived in Washington state I believe it’s whole life. Jack points and fire wall all clean and straight. Paint is believed to be original. It’s possible there was paint work in the rear right corner due to the fact that it’s held up. better than the rest.

I’m happy to do a video walk around. Chrome is in presentable, decent condition. The only area where water has found it’s way is the spare tire well which has left maybe a penny sized hole.

I can test the electrics tomorrow and let you know, it’s been a while.

Thank you,

Jason
