Saturday March 14th will mark the Triumph-ant return of the fabulous Shamrock Vintage Rally. A stripped down version of its' former self, but still should be a damn fun time. I have a route picked out and will make up some maps, but probably nothing else. Entry fees will be commensurate with what is provided--read that as FREE.
We'll meet up around 9:30am-ish at the Almond Plaza shopping center on Regional Street in Dublin. Look for the green & white checkered flag. You Goofle types can look up the Bagel Bakery in Dublin. That's where we'll be.
Plan is to roll out around 10:30am-ish. Do a leisurely/spirited drive around some fun roads. There is no dirt planned, but there is always the chance for a water crossing (hopefully). We will end up near downtown San Jose around 4:30pm at Habana Cuba Restaurant. The owners are total car fanatics and past rallyists. there will be food and drink available for purchase. Cuban sandwich is GREAT. This is no host- you want, you buy. Appetizers are always good, their full dinners are even better. Treat your co-driver for putting up with you for the day. A couple of Mojitos can go a long way.
The Shamrock is a good event to test out your old car or to test out new co-drivers. This is a VINTAGE rally, but we will be lenient with entry of newer sports cars. (Hint- old cars don't have the best brakes. It's better to let them be in front of you.)

2002AD has been in business for almost 50 years now, growing from a 2002 dismantler/used parts seller/service business in Sun Valley, CA.
