I noticed this engine sitting in Bill Riblett’s garage a few years ago. Sadly, Bill passed away and his extensive collection has been inventoried and most, if not all parts have been sold.  This engine is very close to the tii engine I used in my 69 (2762332).

I wonder what happened to the engine and the original Verona car?

The BMW 2002 tii US VIN 2762339 was manufactured on July 28th, 1972 and delivered on September 29th, 1972 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Verona, paint code 024.
