So I took my freshly restored (new leather) e21 sport steering wheel to get it installed and guess what. I dropped it and the plastic tag/tongue at the end of the hub broke.
Any other way to fix it besides of replacing the hub by drilling the rivets ?

Great! So I don't need to look for the bracket.
Regarding the alternator, since I won't have an injection pump, I could run the alternator on top right? (And use the brackets I have)
-
Installing a Tii motor (with carbs) into my non tii. Big ass air pump bracket is broken and won't fit the Tii block. What should I do?
Also should I use non Tii alternator support bracket on Tii block (planning to use non tii alternator).

May I have a parts list too (thx Blunt)
svn2002s at gmail dot com Need a lot of little stuff

tp tools, they have great stuff. They are running a special thru 3/31 for 799 on a full size with vacuum. Can't beat it. Check them out at tptools dot com I'm getting one as soon as I get my 220v in the garage (you will need a real compressor)
-
With the CR I would run a 3:64 or maybe a 3:45 if you could find it. A 3:90 maybe too much IMHO.
-
Go with nason or Omni which are the cheap and/or less expensive brands for Dupont and PPG. All the cheap stuff you find on the internet might bite you 2 or 3 years later. You get what you pay. Nason and Omni and somehow decent for what you pay. Remember those two aren't Glasurit or HOK. Don't go cheap, you will be sorry.

Just got my Alpina Fabric (20 euros per meter vat included so you can take 16% tax out) in clearance. Need somebody good and reliable. Willing to drive.

Thanks for the advice. So, the size of the chuck (opening?) is one of the main limiting factors right? What about accessories are they interchangeable?

Looking into buying a combo milling/lathe machine and need some advice. I am a complete noobie but can't wait (signed for january classes). Was looking into grizzly machines (g4015z or g9729, 1000 vs 1600 bucks) and need to know their limitations in terms of power, capabilities, tools and accessories. Please feel free to chip in, flame or whatever. I know nothing about it but always want it to learn, it will be just a hobby.

Yeah, I got a stage 2 tii motor from him less than a year ago which is still in the crate, can't wait to install it. He said it was from his Tii that he never got to use. Hope is as good as everybody claims.

Besides Walloth & Nesch (they don't have it). Haven't tried S&K (crazy prices)
-
Three things,
Oil gas prices
The Dollar stinks
Interest rates (cost of money of keeping parts in a wh. somewhere in the world for parts of a 30 year old car)

I have an original 5sp shaft that came with my cr tranny (not e21). I'm planning on taking it to rebalance to San Leandro (I think tha's where the shaft shop is) pretty soon. Do you want to see it measure it? Maybe we can meet next week before I send it out. I can bring the shifting platform if you wish. Let me know
Pic request. The coolest baddest 2002's ever!
