  1. Well, Vintage 2022 has come and gone. It was so great to be back. I hadn't been there since 2019. The RGB was well-represented by: Me, Mike Self, Dirk Rasmussen, Jake Metz, Wil Tinker, Jonathan Tinker, Dohn Roush, Scott Aaron, Chris Allen, John Blake, Reggie and Stephanie Stewart.

The BMWCCA Foundation exhibit: The Power of M was a great pleasure to experience. (Thanks to Lance White, Michael Mitchell, Jackie Jouret and many, many others!) The drive to and from the event in the Self-led caravan was picturesque and fun. (and free of any mishaps) Our excursion to Buc-ee's was, well, freakin' weird in a flag-waving 'Murrica sort of way... The Vintage itself on Saturday was a chance to view the super abundance of cool BMWs and to catch up with friends made at the Vintage and other BMW events. I certainly make the rounds, visiting a plethora of good friends. The parking lot socializing was in full swing each evening, including the installation of a turbo setup in a 2002 by flashlight. Of course, Paul Wegweiser had to prank Rob Siegel or it wouldn't be Vintage at all.

Thank You to Scott Sturdy and his many proficient volunteers who made the event proceed so smoothly for folks like me.

  2. Just rode with Nini all over Greene County and back. My third driver is interested in driving well... I managed to keep my cool for the entire drive! Well done, Nini!
