I always save any leftover fasteners in somewhat organized bins. It's a big collection and I'm sure my kids will appreciate the treasure when I'm gone. -
I've always been blessed with overconfidence in my abilities. It won't be a show car but it's coming together nicely. The front clip turned out so nice I decided to paint the rest of it and of course I'm finding some hidden cancer and such. Good thing I'm not in any kind of hurry and have room to play with it. -

Have to chime in. Dave was a great person and the only 2002 resource in the Eugene, OR area. I spent way too much time and $$ visiting with him. It saddens me to see these type of people move on and so few replacements! -
Just want to recognize a company that takes care of us dummies. I ordered some mirror gaskets and a couple of the gizmos that hold the roundel on the hood. Looking at my order when they shipped I realized I only ordered and paid for 1 gizmo. (69 cents) Well crap, you dumb sh#&! Got the order yesterday and there were two of the little plastic gizmos! I doubt that would happen with the big bird BMW parts supplier!

Yeah, that's what my old manual suggests. I work on Subarus also so should have caught on to the Elring "hyroglyphic" instructions. Thanks for the replies!

Resealing a M10 because it was leaking from almost every place it could. Massive amounts of silicone used by the last monkey that worked on it. My question is whether to retorque after warming up. I'm using Elring gaskets. Torqued to 54lbs at this point.

Fuel injection kit that came with a car I bought. I decided to stick with the Weber for now. I think it will require a MegaSquirt and someone smart enough to put it all together. $1,200 plus shipping or best offer. Includes; Intake manifold with fuel rail, injectors. MAP and TPS sensors. High pressure fuel pump. Fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure gauge. Air/fuel ratio gauge. Crankshaft trigger wheel and sensor. EDIS4 module. MSD coil pack. Plug wire set. Fuel pump block off plate. Distributor delete plug. Wiring harness with circuit breakers, relays. Misc. throttle linage parts. -
I'm in search of the above parts for a 1974 2002. New, used, whatever I can find.
