  7. Selling a complete Weber DCOE 40 conversion kit I picked up from the guys at 2002sOnly. Includes 2 Italian DCOE 40s, manifolds, coolant bipass hoses, 2002sOnly Throttle Linkage, and misc gaskets and hardware. I also picked up a set of Lynx Ramflo filters I'm including. Carbs have tags saying that they've been ultrasonic cleaned have not received new gaskets. Unexpected life events mean I need to walk away from my 02 project, will be posting lots of parts in the coming weeks.
  8. M10 parts purge continues. Have a like-new 123 bluetooth distrubutor. Mounted but never run. Doesn't include any packaging, will throw in some plug cables I got from Ireland at the same time as the distrubutor. Asking $415 Shipped in the CONUS.
  9. Have an IE 2" stainless downpipe and exhaust. The downpipe was mounted during an engine test for about 20 minutes, otherwise this stuff is all brand new. Decided to switch to an m20 swap for my car, no longer need these parts. Looking for $400 shipped in the CONUS
  10. Hey guys. Have a new pressure plate and clutch for a 215mm flywheel. I'm going to take the plunge on an m20 swap and won't need these any more. Remember them being a little tough to track down, hoping someone here can still use them. Asking 180 Shipped in the CONUS
  11. Hey guys, looking to get a pair of dcoe 40s. Don't mind doing a rebuild, would prefer them to be in decent shape tho. Will also need linkages, manifolds, etc. Thanks!
  12. Awesome info, thank you! Ordered my patch panels for the footwells, will start cutting into stuff in the next few weeks. The pedal box is pretty solid luckily, the rust is pretty isolated to the actual floor panel. The car is Sienna Brown so the paint might be what's looking rough back there. The Firewall on the passenger side does have some rust, will probably need to do a small patch there.
  13. Hey guys, reviving this old thread for an update. Finally got the time to get the engine totally together and did a 20-minute bench test this weekend. Compression numbers all look good after the test and no blow-by or other issues. We’ll see how it holds up, but for now I’m very relieved that the block seems solid.
  14. After a very long messy day I got some good news on the rear footwells and trans tunnel, they look rock solid. Dry ice and an oscillating scraper ended up doing the trick.
  15. Thanks for the additional input guys. As suggested, the more insulation that's come out the more rust has appeared. The passenger side towards the trans tunnel is almost as bad as the drivers side. Think the prudent thing is just to replace it all.
  16. Hey guys. The '76 project is moving along, starting to get into body work. The car is mercifully very good in terms of rust, the one spot I was aware of was the drivers footwell though. Removed the carpet today and it is indeed toast. Will be patching it. I wanted to ask about the condition of the passenger side tho. It's definitely seen moisture and has some heavy pitting in places. Nowhere near the level of the drivers side, and the panel passed the pick test. Would I be able to get away a good clean and some rust treatment here? (the photo of the passenger side looks a little like there are holes at the edge of the well, it's just remnants of the tar paper) Thanks Chris
  17. Yea, thankfully it’s never been decked. Would have lost my mind otherwise.
  18. Looking for an M10 lower timing cover, managed to crack my current one putting in the seal. Lots of learning the hard way over here recently. Photo below of my damaged cover. Would ideally like something that’s already been cleaned up, or at least has been confirmed to not have cracks or damage to the sealing surfaces. Willing do $120 for a clean one. Best Chris
  19. Hey guys, I’m looking for a LSD for my 2002 project. Will be running a 4 speed so I believe I’ll need a 3.64 ratio. I’m in the Atlanta area, also happy to discuss shipping. Hoping for something in good shape I can just drop in. best Chris
  20. Chatted with my machinist today. Long story short, they said they'd just run the block as-is. They re-honed that cylinder and checked the depth of the marks for me, ended up being about half a thou for the larger of the two. Not perfect, but it's such a small blemish on an otherwise good block they advised it wasn't worth the money to get it 100%. Photos of the clean cylinder below.
  21. Also, thinking back on it the block came out of a running car with low compression. It sat in my finished basement for a few months but I definitely don't remember meaningful surface rust on the cylinder walls. Would point to cavities in the casting then. I'll have to check the date stamp when I'm home.
