  1. some other pictures of installation of bonnet modification kit
  2. Hello I begin to have feedback of first installation and people are happy. Now, i deliver 2 sets of gas strut. 1 strong and 1 with less effort. It permits to less bend the bonnet in the middle when it s closed and have a better and regular gap between bonnet and front face. People can choose what they prefer. https://www.instagram.com/p/CRubH4arYUN/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CTZDyOdB7zL/
  3. Kits are now available Let me know if someone is interested in!
  4. i also use the original e21 support . you have to reduce it by 145mm
  5. here a shot with only 1 support I displaced the original support by 145mm to the rear And i had also to reduce a little bit the tunnel near the slave cylinder
  6. it's a subject i study at the moment. If you have some pics of your front environment, it will be great. I could also send you drawing with a gabarit at scale 1 to check it more easily.
  7. Yes. I check it. You can access everything if you only dismantle the grill. No need to dismantle the radiator.
  8. Parts are made with 3mm and 5 mm thickness Steel plate. So, i dont think it will break first. The gas shock is very strong too. After, effectively , the arm lever is reduced compare to the standard solution. So with lot of Wind , it could damage the bonnet if the wind want to open it more. If the wind is in the other direction and want to close it. There is no lockout. Because i think the wind will push but i don t think it will close completely. And if you have a lock out and you forget it. You will also damage the bonnet.
  9. I've not lot of space in this area. I need to buy a standard cable to see how it could fit ?
  10. OK, i understand you mean the brake ratio adjustment between front and rear As i don't plan to do lot of race track. I plan only to set a fix ratio between front and rear and not adjustable in live. Maybe it's a mistake, i don't know
  11. For the moment, i only define how the cable will be move on the pedal box side The pedal gas is link to a lever by an adjustable rod. red is a spring blue are the different cable position yellow is an adjustable stop by a screw i tried to have everything adjustable
  12. Thanks. Can you precise what you mean by "bias adjuster cable " you speak about the gas pedal cable ?
  13. Thanks! not yet, and if you have seen the state of my rebuild, i will have to wait some months more!! ?
  14. I think about it. i found nice tank with 3 compartiments but my major concern was the lot of different type of plug for hoses and i did not find something simple
  15. Hello, another study i wanted to share with you is my new pedal box I wanted to suppress the brake booster but i wanted to keep a sufficient brake force. I made some search and i found some pics of different solutions or this one or this But no solution was exactly what i search so, i decided to built a new one I made a study in 3d first draw more I made also lot of paper mockup test after, to finalize the study, i need to bought some equipment I choose also to instal a mechanical repartitor on the brake pedal here the final design I keep the standard clutch master cylinder i increase the pedal brake ratio and i keep the standard electric switch for lights I also include a new gas pedal system. It will work with cable Now, the build test with engine new pedals the box Final assembly
  16. Thanks, i get already some demands and i think i will try with a first batch!
  17. Yes. It s enough to open it and you might need to retain it to reduce speed. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMXkQVCoTjp/?igshid=chj0fohfzu3m

  19. Hello I wanted to remove original bonnet cantilever. I made some prototype and now, i get this smart solution wich work very well. Gas shock are almost hide I didn't make any modification on my 02. it use the original fixation available in the front of the car. That was a state for this solution to have a plug and play solution.
